Thanks, Takoda! We are having a great time together. Being a Mom is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I had no idea you could love a little guy so much :). XO

Hey,
Tanks for signing my guestbook :) I'm having tons of fun on ChickAdvisor! I wanted to sign up for the Crest Whitening Stripes, but my ortho is urging me not to whiten me teeth just yet. Let me know how they work out if you get them! I want to try whitening my teeth :)
have a nice weekend,

Hey Takoda!

Ali came by today with little Jake and I passed along your message and she really appreciate it! Jake is just SO cute and tiny. He was sleeping most of the time and he was really stylish too (not surprised since Ali's the mommy)

Anyways, hope you're doing well! I saw the picture of Takoda and I believe your son? Great picture btw!

Morning!

Yes I'll let Ali know for sure whenever I see her. She's been busy with little Jake lately. I think there's more pictures of Jake on her fb page though if you are interested. Anyways take care! The weather is getting hotter again so Summer's not quite over. Enjoy it!

Hiya Takoda,

Thanks for letting me know about that cream. I would still like to try it next time I visit the doc though because I've tried a lot of stuff and it's not working. I'm also waiting for some of the samples. I think it's great that they'll send some samples so I can try it and see if it works before I buy. How was your weekend? It's getting cooler now and today was FREEZING when I was going to work. I heard the temperature will rise back up so Summer will continue.

As to your question regarding Ali's profile, yes that is her baby and his name is Jake. He's so cute isn't he? I haven't seen him in real life but the pictures just makes my heart melt!

Hiya,

So I went onto the website and I did the skin analysis and they recommended the products for me but it doesn't seem like there's any samples. It just says to add to cart to purchase. I think you were lucky and they were shipping out free samples at that time. It's really helpful though. I think I'm going to get the buffering lotion and the drying cream! First I'm going to see if I can actually head to the store since that will save me some shipping fee. Thanks a lot for the recommendation Takoda! When I get the products I'll let you know how it's working. I'm glad you understand my frustration with those bumps that are just ALWAYS there!

Your kids are basically all grown up! I was a really bad kid myself when I was a teenager so I can relate, in a sense. When I reached high school, I hung out with the wrong crowd. I smoked, did drugs, skipped school, and other bad stuff that I was not proud of. My parents didn't even think I would go to post secondary after I finished high school since I never tried. It's weird but I definitely think it's a phase that will pass. I know that one time, I thought about it and realized having fun like that won't last forever. I would need to grow up and act like an adult with responsibility. I knew I didn't want to be a bum with a drug problem and it somehow made me realize how important school is and when I was in grade 12, I actually tried and got myself to post secondary.

I think a lot of times, kids get stuck in that mind frame and thinks that it will last and that they still have lots of time to fool around, when in actuality, time is ticking. You seem like a great mother so I'm sure your kids are just being typical teenagers and will be back on track soon!

Sorry for ranting about my life LOL...but I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Take care :)

Hi Takoda,

You're too kind! Yes I admit it's hard to see my blemishes in the pictures but it's there alright! I think Jenni's photoshopping skills does the job with blurring out our blemishes. I will def ask my family doctor about that the next time I go. Thx for letting me know. The problem with me is that I get a lot of those bumps that don't seem like acne but they are so it's really confusing! My skin is also very sensitive so I can't wear foundation either or else I'll break out the next day!

I'm so glad the witch hazel is helping you though, since I was the one who worked on that article..so at least I know I helped one person :D. How have you been lately? Summer's almost over so I'm guessing your kids are heading back to school soon?

Take care and stay dry!

Hiya,
I think the witch hazel worked better for you than it did for me! It dries my skin out a lot but I do think it helps with my pimples though. Not entirely but the ones that was there for a while faded...sadly new ones keeps coming :( Anyways, instead of using it morning and night I just use it once a day so it doesn't dry out my skin as much.

I have combination skin so some parts are oily and other parts are dry...it sucks!

Have a great weekend takoda. Oh and I know you love dogs (or at least Takoda) so if you ever need to find a book to read I would suggest "The last dog on the hill" by Steve Duno. I just read it and will recommended to others soon but it's a non-fiction book about a dog named Lou.

Bye now!

Morning Takoda,
This was the product that I was talking about:
http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/garnier-pure-sos-anti-blemish-spot-pen/
Haha it should be for blemishes unless I'm just totally blind and was thinking about something totally different.

This week has been pretty chilly so far with a lot of rain but today it seems like it'll be sunny and hot again. Ali's due date was last Friday but she still hasn't had the baby yet :( From what I heard, she's been feeling really uncomfortable with the false contractions and has been staying home so we haven't seen her in a while. The baby will be induced if he or she is still not willing to come out after a period of time. We hope she'll be okay but I'm glad the baby is late rather than premature tho!

Thanks a lot for the suggestion Takoda. I'm going to keep using the witch hazel and see how effective it is. I will definitely pick up some buffering lotion if I'm ever close to one of the stores. I've also been reading some reviews and a lot of people seems to suggest the Garnier SOS spot corrector. It's like really good against pimples so I might try that too! Take care!
