My dogs were super excited to try the Auntie Kim Kanine Kookies Flower Power treats. They were even doing tricks before I asked! What I like about them is that they're made in Canada with all Canadian ingredients and that's more important than ever these days. The fact that they're using all natural ingredients but technically we could even eat if we wanted to is a great thing and I love that these treats actually help relieve things like the discomfort of allergies or arthritis and address digestive issues. Pumpkin and turmeric are the main ingredients in these, and as someone with a dog who does have digestive problems these couldn't be more perfect. I have to say, the way my dogs react to these treats and how badly they wanted more tells me that not only are they healthy and good for them but they taste good too. They're also designed to be easy to break apart if you want to give smaller servings to smaller dogs. Three dogs give three paws up!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the Hotti heated handle dog leash! First it's solidly constructed (but very lightweight and easy to handle) and is a nice looking retractable leash. I thought the LED ring light was a cool feature that not only added visibility but easily showed me what heat setting I was using. One of the best features for me was the built in flashlight because I live in a rural area, so at night it is extra dark. The light lit up my walking path really well! Now to the main attraction! I found this really easy to use. Clicking one button cycles through the heat settings. It warmed up quickly and actually kept my hands feeling warm on a -8°C winter walk. This is my first retractable leash, and my little guy seemed to enjoy the freedom of being able to explore more freely with its 12 feet of length. I also love that this leash has reflective threading in the leash, overall it has great visibility features, which I think is super important in the winter when it gets dark so early and often stays gloomy and grey all day.
I was impressed with how warm this kept my hands and am very happy I had a chance to try out this clever product!

I've talked about this brand before (Clean Reserve) and wear their Sparkling Sugar scent often. This new fragrance is called whipped cherry, and it's very interesting. On my skin, it starts out light and sweet, with an almost powdery, delicate vanilla marshmallow aroma, touched slightly by a gentle floral and cherry tone. After a few minutes, it dries down to a more woodsy, soft, warm fragrance, with just a hint of the marshmallow left behind. I don't actually detect much cherry at this point, which is a little surprising given the name, but I do really like what I'm left with. In all honesty, it quite reminds me of Maison Margiela's By the Fireplace (a personal fave), in a softer, more feminine form. If I had to choose one word to describe it, it would be cozy, it's just a really comforting, warm fragrance, ideal for winter. The icing on the (whipped cherry) cake is their continued commitment to sustainability and clean formulations, as well as being cruelty-free. I love it! ❤️

I was actually meant to review these Tylenol Extra Strength Daytime Relief tablets a few days ago, but given that it requires something to treat, I had to wait until the opportunity presented itself. Today was the day.
I get headaches when the weather changes (must be an air pressure thing), and we've gone from a week of pretty rainy, overcast weather to a dry sunny day today. Boom, headache begins. So does this work?
Just about everyone has heard of Tylenol, and you've probably used it, too. Yes, this DID work, and pretty quickly, too. I'm guessing it's due to the combo of aceteminophen and caffeine. I've heard this combo works, but have never explored why, so I did a little research. It seems the reason is that caffeine boosts the absorption of the aceteminophen and enhances the pain relieving properties. This tracks because my headache started to ease off in less than 30 minutes. Oh, and the pills themselves? They're easy to swallow, and it's Tylenol, so I already trusted it would do the job!

I'm not really a fan of mouthwash for a couple of reasons; I don't really like the mint flavour and I hate the overwhelming burn. Because of this, I was interested to see how Listerine Total Care ZERO would measure up.
It still has a minty taste, but it's dialed way down, so although I wouldn't say it tasted great (it's still mint), it was tolerable and not unpleasant (they call it "mild mint" and that's accurate). The burn factor is definitely controlled, this is a major selling point, and I'm guessing this is due to it being alcohol free.
One thing I noticed is that it made my mouth feel a little strange, almost dry and for lack of a better description, vaguely numb for a couple of minutes. It contains essential oils (Eucalyptol being the main one), and I suspect that is what is causing this feeling.
Overall I would and will continue using this, because the lack of burn and overpowering taste outweighs the briefly weird mouth feel and it is proven to handle bad breath, plaque, reduce and prevent gingivitis, and fight tartar.

I was sent this Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in color 65 - Intense Berry, free in exchange for my honest review.
First thing I noticed is that the color is rich and pigmented. For a daytime look, a little goes a long way and it's easy to overdo it. Application is fairly smooth (it does feel very silky at first), but I did feel like I had to be quick or it wouldn't keep blending easily. I think that's just the nature of a tint product though; you see that happen with lip tints as well. This product could easily be built up into a super dramatic makeup look.
For me, this wasn't the ideal color as I'm quite pale and this color is, as the name suggests, intense. It took a bit of care to not over apply. I think this color would look great on a wide range of skin tones though, especially darker complexions, and for people who like a dramatic pop of blush.

Lubriderm is a brand that never disappoints! This isn't my first time using Lubriderm products. In this case, the body wash didn't leave my skin feeling tight, in fact, it left it feeling smooth and supple. The lotion is a hero, it worked great on my dry, irritated hands, the result of extensive yard work and TONS of washing up items found during an " I should really go through these stored away boxes I haven't opened in the last 12 years since we moved" session. When I say my hands felt awful, I mean it. What I love best is that this lotion really absorbs. You don't get that weird, sticky coating sitting on top of your skin. It made my hands feel better almost immediately. And no fragrance, which I love, no competing with actual fragrance you're wearing. I was already a fan and have no hesitation recommending these products. Finally, the price point (generally around the $10 range) proves you don't need pricey to get results.

The bottle is interesting and lovely and in a very unique twist, blends three separate peptides when the dispenser is depressed. Unfortunately bottle design means nothing to your skin. This triple peptide eye product could have had so much promise, but it's SCENTED! Please tell me in what world my eyes need to be perfumed? Eye products should be gentle and fragrance-free in my opinion. It does have a delicate, light texture and absorbed into my eye area quite nicely, leaving a satin sheen that lasted a short while. It seems to be relatively moisturizing and my eye area felt smooth to the touch, although I can't say I noticed any particular changes in my eye area; perhaps a longer trial is necessary. Ultimately, I just can't past the fairly strong scent.

I was sent these free for review. It's kind of perfect timing that I was sent a coupon to redeem for Chapman's new Yukon Strawberry Shortcake Crunch Ice Cream Bars, because very recently I was reminiscing about the strawberry shortcake bars I'd loved as a kid, and that seemed to have disappeared (from Canada anyway). Thank you Chapman's, these are so good! The crunchy shortbread and strawberry type coating is my favorite, and inside is more yummy strawberry shortcake goodness in the form of creamy ice cream. I'm a big fan of that crunchy/creamy combo. They are sweet, but not too sweet and, have the perfect level of strawberry flavour. I have to admit, the box is almost gone. I have my favourite ice cream treat back! 🤗 -
