My lashes are sparse and blonde tipped. They are not long. I tried out this product even though I was thinking it was "too good to be true". No...it wasn't. It worked and is so much easier than false lashes! I did not have any trouble figuring out how to use the product - the directions are very clear. I like to do 2 coats to really make my lashes pop but can get away with 1 coat. They make my lashes look long (but not clownish) and thicker. It lasts until I take it off - or until I start rubbing at my eyes in the evening when I am getting tired. I do find the price a bit steep. Because of this I tend to not wear everyday. Once or twice a week "for fun" or if I am going out. That way it will last longer for me. -

The first dry shampoo I ever tried was Batiste and after that I was hooked! I liked how I was able to "wash" my hair in a pinch. When time was tight or I was travelling. The smell was fresh and not at all overpowering and it faded away as time went on. I liked how it added a touch of volume and texture to my hair - actually made it easier to style! I have tried other brands - as they were on sale - but I have to say I always come back to Batiste. I will continue to buy and recommend it. -

I was selected to try this product as a part of the product review club by Chickadviser in exchange for my honest opinion. I had high hopes for this product but I think that is because I'm used to another brand of almond milk. I was excited to try Dream Coconut Milk as I love coconut and thought it would be a good addition to my morning smoothies. Unfortunately it was a bit thinner than I thought and it was pretty bland to me. While it didn't do anything bad to my smoothie it didn't add anything to it either. It turned out much thinner than normal with no discernible coconut taste. I tried a bit in a glass to drink straight and there was a slight coconut taste - mild, not overpowering. Would I buy this again? No, probably not. If I couldn't drink milk it would be a good alternative - it doesn't taste bad. It would do. However, i don't have any issues with milk so I wouldn't by this again. Even when I'm following Paleo, I think I'll just stick to almond milk. I did like the package Chickadvisor sent - they included a cake tester and a couple cute tea towels! I enjoyed that nice addition very much! Thanks, Chickadvisor! -

This dish soap is my favorite and I buy it when I am out of town as my local stores don't carry it. It is less expensive than my other top choice brand, the suds last til the end of dishwashing chore and it doesn't irritate my hands. I have let pots and pans soak for an hour when company dropped in and there were still suds! I highly recommend this more natural, gentle, effective soap! -

I have given the Covergirl Lashblast FUSION mascara a good honest try. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting much because I am in love with my current brand of mascara, but wanted to try it out.
I was a bit concerned about the wand. How was a wand with such short bristles going to lengthen and add volume? My lashes are sparse and blonde on the tips so without mascara you can't even see them! I felt a moment of disappointment, thinking this was just another mascara that wasn't going to live up to the hype. Well, I was pleasantly surprised!
I've been wearing it for 3 days now and I find that with 2 coats I get a fairly decent look. One coat is not bad either, but I prefer to put on 2. One thing I like about the wand is that those short bristles really pick up those smaller lower lashes as well as the inner corner ones. No lash is left untouched which really makes a difference.
I have to say that I like the packaging. I like being able to see the wand before purchasing a mascara, and a drawing on the back (as I see on some brands) just doesn't cut it! Covergirl LashBlast Mascara's come with a cap on the bottle and the want in full view...so you can see exactly what you are getting.
Would I buy this for myself or as a gift for a friend? Yes! It is also less expensive then my current brand! Would I recommend it to others? Definitely!

I received this pack from Chickadvisor free in return for testing and reviewing it. I am seriously Glad that I was chosen for this! I went to a wedding and the only shoes I had to wear always result in heel blisters. They(the shoes) hurt! I put on these gems before I put on my shoes and guess what?! No blisters! There was the perfect amount of cushioning and comfort, so my heels were protected. And they thank you!!
On a side note, I realize the purpose of these were to medicate and heal blisters. I didn't want to go through the pain of causing a blister... On purpose, so I used these to avoid the problem. I am impressed with them so far, and will definitely keep them in my purse for future use. I KNOW there will be a time I will need them. When the time comes, I will review again!!

I have already suffered a bad sunburn on my face this summer. It was bad! Painful and itchy with my only relief being a gel ice pack. When I saw #Chickadvisor offering to try this product for free in exchange for a review, I was very excited! I applied, hoping this would be the one summer I didn't get sunburned over and over again!
I have been using this for well over a week now when I go for my walks as well as when I have to supervise kids on the playground at school and am pleased to say that I haven't gotten sunburned again! In fact, I haven't even gotten tanned!
When applying the sunscreen it goes on very thick. My face was completely white and I really had to rub it in good. That was a bit annoying but then I realized that at least I can see exactly where I've already applied it - so no longer bothered by it. In fact, I love the coverage I get with it. Also, although it is thick, it feels light on my skin. I even use it on my arms - so while it is meant to use on the face, it works great as a double duty sunscreen in a pinch.
The sunscreen is not greasy and there is no discernible smell to it. Anyone who is sensitive to scents would probably be able to use this. My face can be very sensitive to some products, but there was no reaction to #CoppertoneSensitiveSkin whatsoever. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Absolutely! Would I buy this product on my own? Absolutely! When this bottle is empty, I'm heading out to purchase another! Thanks, #Chickadvisor!

I was given the #VichyIdealiaLifeSerum for free as a companion product for the new Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep from ChickAdvisor to test and review. With a retail value of $111, (for both together) this was an amazing opportunity! The Life Serum was a bonus surprise!
I used the Life Serum in conjunction with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. I used the Skin Sleep at bedtime and the Life Serum in the morning. It was so nice to put this serum on my face every day. It soaked right into my skin and was light to the touch. I couldn't even tell that I was wearing anything on my face!
After using for 3 weeks, I have much softer and smoother skin. The skin tone has evened out and looks brighter! Using both products together has made me look younger than I did before my first application! I've also noticed the pores around my nose have gotten smaller as well!
I am posting a picture so you can see the difference 22 days made. Will I buy this again? I'd like to - it's a bit out of my budget, but a little goes a long way, so the bottle will last for a long time. This alone will make it easier to spend the money on this product. I'm so glad I got to participate in this product testing campaign. I am happy to say that #vichyworksforme !

I received #VichyIdealiaSkinSleep to test for free. I am a Nana of 1 and a Mom to 2 grown children. I never took time when they were small to look after my skin. After years of not moisturizing regularly and countless sunburns, my face and skin were looking a little worse for wear. It looked older than my 47 years. I was excited to try this product as I had heard great things about Vichy. From the first application, I was impressed. It covered my skin, smoothly and soaked right in. Cool and light feeling. (Most moisturizers and creams just sit on my face so this was a new feeling for me!). I noticed a difference right away. After 3 weeks my skin looks less tired and haggard. It looks younger. The skin tone has evened out as well - less sallow. As a side note, I got badly sunburned a week ago and my face and neck were on fire and itchy. When I put on my Skin Sleep before bed, it cooled my skin AND stopped the itching! I'm guessing that is just an un-thought of bonus, but I will take it!
I am posting a picture of a before and during (not after, because I am going to continue using this product!). You can see the difference 22 days made in the look of my skin.
Will I buy this again? I probably will. The price is out of my budget, so I plan to save and watch for coupons, etc so I can replenish my cream when the time comes. I will say, though, that although the price is a bit high, a little goes a long way, so that tub of cream will last for some time! I don't want to be without this product because - I have discovered - #vichyworksforme!

I'm struggling a bit with what kind of review to give this vacuum. Ordinarily I love Bissell products, but I seem to have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this one. I was in the market for a new vacuum, and having pets made it very important to find one that could handle the pet hair that accumulates on the carpet. So, after shopping around and comparing prices, I nabbed this one for only $89. Not a bad deal for anything Bissell!
The first tiime I vacuumed with it, I was suprised. It is relatively quiet and you cannot feel the suction when using it, so I thought it was not working very well. Was I surprised when I opened the canister to find it chock full of dog hair! I was duly impressed.
Now...this is where I hesitate to give it a perfect review. There is no rotating brush on the bottom of the floor attachment. There is only a foam strip (like what you would find on a reusable lint brush). This just seems to drag the dog hair into a strip on the carpet. I have to pull the wand/hose apart and suck it up that way every once and awhile. That is very inconvenient and annoying. It should just suck it up.
So...I will allow that perhaps my old carpet in my rental unit could be the problem. Perhaps it is the workings of the vacuum itself. While I am pleased overall with the power of the machine considering you spend the whole time vacuuming and feeling like you are not accomplishing anything - I am displeased with how it takes an extra step to suck up the hair at times.
It does work great on bare floors. I can see the pet hair, dust, crumbs etc getting sucked in even from an inch or two away!
I might recommend this if someone with one pet...or maybe cats. If you have 2 dogs and one sheds a lot? You might want to consider going with something else. If you do not have carpet in your home, then this would work perfectly for you!
