Overkill Alert: If you do choose bold earrings to polish off your outfit, leave the other accessories understated or at home - less is more.

Love the Banana Republic cascades...especially the sale price! Also recommend the Petra Fringe earring by Stella & Dot though they're a little above the $50 mark at $59 shipping. They were in the December issue of Marie Claire and they're gorge.

I love so many of these I don't know where to start! I bought a pair of earrings the same colour as the Tarina Tarantino ones and they are so gorgeous. I got them at The Bay for about $20.

I failed. I went to Bittersweet and bought flower earrings very similar to the second pair.

I just went into overdrive! I LOVE bejewelled earings!!! The first two and last two are stunning! Note to self: must....not...buy....new....earrings (or at the very least try hard to wait until my next paycheque). Thanks MaryD for sharing this with us!

The Tarina Tarantino flowers are simply gorgeous & I really like the fossil ones too. I do not like my earrings to be too big because my hair gets tangled up in them sometimes.

No, not left the scene. But I think that large dangly earrings were a little pushed aside in favour of smaller styles when statement necklaces had their heyday.

Claire,

I don't think they've ever really left the scene, right? They are reminiscent of the style of earrings worn in the 80's movies I watch.

Love it.
