6 Multi-Tasking Fashions & Accessories

A dress that can be worn more than one way? A fabulous shoe that can be dressed up or down? I'm totally on board. I love a great multi-tasking product that delivers great bang for your buck and can be worked a few different ways to carry you through a few different outfits.

We found 6 great fashion and flattering items that are perfect additions to stretch your wardrobe. Another bonus: think travel convenience when you want to look put together but have to pack light.

1. Old Navy Cross-Front Jersey Maxi Dresses (C$32.94): Maxi dresses are so easy to slip on and with a flat sandal and floppy hat are perfect the beach. Add a heel and a statement bracelet, and you're ready to hit a lounge for drinks with the girls.

2. George 8-in-1 Dress (C$20.00): This dress can be worn 8 (yup, 8!) different ways, and with its flowy hemline and empire waist, it's also universally flattering.

3. Mexx Blazer (C$85.95, on sale): Blazers are a chic alternative to a knitted cardi. I love white linen for summer but a polyester blend is more resistant to wrinkling. Pair it with denim or a summer dress for a smooth daytime-to-nighttime transition.

4. Hush Puppies Slumber Pump (C$120.00): A wedge like this gives height but is going to be comfortable for walking all day long.

5. Old Navy Fold-Over Linen-Blend Pants (C$32.94): These pants are simple yet flattering enough to dress up or down depending on the occasion.

6. Banana Republic Colorblock Peplum Tank (C$85.00): This is perfect because it's visually interesting but not overpowering, making it great to wear with other solid colours, prints or patterns. Wear it with shorts for a day trip, or go formal with a skirt and statement necklace.

Which multi-tasking fashion item do you swear by?

I would love to own those linen pants. Although I would be scared because they are white and I would never want to sit down :(

I like the Maxi Dress and the Fold over pants. I agree with LissaG, those shoes would look better with a closed toe.

Love the dresses and the jacket, but the pants and top aren't doing it for me. Those shoes would be adorable if the toe was closed...with the peep toe it looks like something grandma would wear thinking she looked cool haha.
