Not too long ago, Vogue released their Best Dressed List for 2012 and I was a little miffed. I mean, it was no People's Magazine Sexiest Man Alive debate (a la Ryan G.) but still, Kristen Stewart? Leelee Sobeski? 

I do not agree, Vogue. I decided to make my own list instead. These are my top 10 picks for the most stylish ladies of 2012 (in no particular order because I don't play favourites!).
 
#1 Solange Knowles 


So I know that Solange's sister, the Beyonce is all anyone can talk about these days but I think Solange is totally where it's at. I love the way she pairs together patterns and colours and even in a solid white dress, she werks it like nobody's business. I mean, there is a cape-like train on that dress. A cape. For being stylish and unique, Solange is on my list. 

#2 Cate Blanchett 
 

Cate Blanchett, you crazy glamazon, you. You are like a statue of perfection in everything you wear. She mixes feminine and masculine and wears the heck out of a metallic. 

#3 Mary-Kate, Ashley & Elizabeth Olsen 
 

The Olsen twins are famous for making 'hobo chic' an actual thing and whenever I ogle the latest collection from their line, The Row, my eyes do that thing specially reserved for macaroons and marshmallow milkshakes. I'm including a third Olsen, Elizabeth, with them as well because I think she deserves some credit. She's wearing a velvet suit and I'm into it. 

#4 Dianna Agron 
 

How did you get so freakin' adorable Dianna Agron? I like that Dianna's personal style is the right blend of quirky,edgy and pretty. She looks just as comfortable in a printed sundress as she does in an emerald gown. 

#5 Kate Bosworth 
 

Kate Bosworth has this magical ability to always choose the right outfit. No matter the occasion, her outfit is always spot on and fits her personality and body like a luxury cashmere glove. She can do dark and edgy or sweet and feminine  

#6 Dakota & Elle Fanning 
 
 
I wish I could shrink the Fanning sisters and just carry them around in my pocket like dolls because that's how cute they are. They know how to dress for their age and they have fun with fashion. A patterned suit? Why not?

#7 Emma Watson


Emma is as lovely as a hot cup of tea and a scone on a rainy Sunday afternoon. She has impeccable taste and anyone who can cut their hair that short and look as hot as a jalapeno deserves to be on this list. 

#8 Diane Kruger 


Diane sometimes crosses the line between avant garde and plain ol' bananas, but you have to respect a gal who plays it risky with her fashion. I think for the most part it pays off. 

#9 Zoe Saldana 


Not only do I want to raid Zoe Saldana's closet, but I also want to be her BFF and go for brunch with her. I just think she seems like a genuinely fun girl and if we did become BFFs she would let me borrow that peplum top. 

#10 Taylor Swift 
 

T. Swift and I have had our differences in the past but she's been doing some serious mod style makeover magic for her latest album and I'm digging the bangs and the vintage inspired outfits. Plus, she knocked it out of the park at this year's AMAs.
