Emma Watson Style Guide

Posted by ChickAdvisor Team | Friday July 15, 20114 comments

We've seen Emma Watson grow up on-screen as Hermione Granger of the beloved Harry Potter series. It's hard not to be proud/envious when she grows out of her frizzy hair, sweaters and ill-fitting dresses into a fashion maven. Elle declared her a "Style Icon" at the 2011 Elle Style Awards. She's been out and about in front of the cameras promoting the final movie and we can't help but agree with Elle.

Emma graced Times Style Magazine with this superbly chic outfit, consisting of black on white on black and black again. We especially love her shiny black leggings, and metal studded boots making her legs appear as if they'll never ever end. Though the hat may be a bit too too for a regular day, Emma pulls it off effortlessly.

Cut the retail value of her outfit in half, and get similar items with:
1.  Zara Stockinette Stitch Stole Scarf (C$15.99)
2. Layered Gothic Cross Necklace (C$10.80)
3. Mango Suit Jacket Mok5 (US$127.58)
4. Zara Frill T-Shirt (C$9.99)
5. American Apparel Shiny Leggings (C$48.00)
6. Sam Edelman LORISSA (US$199.95)

Emma wears this Balmain Fall 2011 one-sleeve dress to the avid Letterman Late Show on July 11, 2011. The sheath cut, silver sequins and one sleeve are designed to catch the attention of anyone in the room. Yet, whether she paired it with wedges to tone down the glamour, or to stay comfortable in the whirlwind press tour, we will never know. Emma also wore a silver sheath number in the July Vogue spread shot by Marino Testino. This Calvin Klein Collection dress screams drama and is a bit of a stretch from the mini dresses we are used to seeing her in.

To steal her look, try:
1. Zara Sequinned Dress (C$159.00) or
2. TopShop Sequinned Mini Dress (C$110.00)

Pair either of these dresses with:
3. Nine West Smooch Pair (C$79.00)
4. Aldo Bochierri Bracelet (C$15.00)
5. Aldo Shott Bracelet (C$15.00)

Emma wore this Oscar de la Renta dress to the premiere of Deathly Hallows Part 2 at Trafalgar Square in London. Under her massive skirt is a pair of brown peep toes that can be worn from day to night. It's clear that the young starts decided to go big with their outfits for the final world premiere, but none stand out as much as Emma.

Steal these outfits with:
1. ModCloth golden party dress (C$89.99)
2. Forever 21 metallic paisley and tulle dress (C$41.80)
Pair these two dresses with a pair of...
3. Spring Classic peep toes (C$49.99)

After seeing her grow up, what do you love most about Emma Watson?

TO me she'll always be Hermione.. I miss her bushy long hair and cute chubby face!! Humph ..back to the real world I guess! Watching her grow up I gotta say I love her overall style. She rocks her own thing, not typical, but very classy.
