Fall 2013 Beauty Trends and Ideas To Try

We recently rolled out the up and coming trendy hairstyles for fall 2013, so this time around we decided to talk makeup. This runway season was definitely a breath of fresh air. The skin was done in matte and contouring had just the slightest hints of colour and lips were juicy but textured. With emphasis on eyes and brows, this is set to be one pretty season!

Here are my favourite five trends off the runway for fall 2013:

#1 Stained Lips

This look is almost gradient, with concentrated, pigmented colour going from the inner lip turning sheer outwards. A new take on the matte lip of last year, this is lighter and more subtle.

#2 Clean Skin

Matte, flawless skin with slight contouring and just a hint of blush colour. Normally, I'm not one to forgo the blush, but I could see myself with this feminine, pretty look.

#3 Grunge, Punk + 90's

Think rocker chick who stayed out partying all night. Imperfect smoky eyes, black liner smudged and messy, natural hair.

#4 Exaggerated Smoky Eye

The smoky eye is back in a big way. Skip the liner and instead try shadows in bold, jewel tones.

#5 All About Brows

Whether they're untamed and bushy or strong and polished, brows make a statement this season.
