Louis Vuitton's Latest Core Values Campaign

Louis Vuitton has snagged Bono and his wife Ali Hewson for their latest Core Values campaign, which was shot in Africa by acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz.  What's so unusual about this image: the pair aren't wearing anything by Louis Vuitton!  They are dressed in Hewson's own organic ethical label Edun (which Louis Vuitton recently acquired a major stake in).

The only Louis Vuitton product in this shot is the limited-edition version of the monogrammed Keepall 45 bag, created in a joint effort with Edun, that both Bono and Hewson are carrying.  All proceeds from this gorgeous bag will be donated to Technoserve in Africa for the Conservation Cotton Initiative and to Chernobyl Children International.  Plus each bag comes with a hand crafted charm from a fair-trade jeweller in Kenya.

Louis Vuitton started a series of advertisements called Core Values in 2007 to support Al Gore's Climate Change project, and who better to represent them than long-time philanthropist Bono.

Who would you like to see in the next Louis Vuitton Core Values campaign?

I like Bono and his wife, but for Lois Vuitton add, there isn't any to be found. For all I know this could be a new cover for his album or just a random magazine picture. Usually the Louis Vuitton team is pretty good with getting their product in, but for some reason I think they dropped the ball!

I think Bono and wife are a great choice!Ive always loved Bono/U2 and there world efforts. There are just so many humanitarians that could be in these projects.Actually the first person that popped in my head was Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt whether you like her or not she does do lots of humanitarian work.BTW I wish I could see that bag its very hard to see in the picture.
