Girlfriends, it happens to 1 in 3 of us over the age of 18.  A sudden sneeze, a hearty laugh, or working out at the gym is all it might take to bring you from happy-go-lucky to horrified in a split second.

You might not want to discuss or even think about it, but many women who’ve had babies, are under stress, postmenopausal, or have had certain types of medical procedures know exactly what we’re talking about: LBL, or Light Bladder Leakage.

The good news is there is something you can do about it, from learning how to minimize or prevent LBL occurrences to easy ways to protect against occasional leaks that create these embarrassing situations.

ChickAdvisor is teaming up with Poise for a special Product Review Club offer: 50 Canadian members will receive a full sized package of Poise Liners to test at home.  And since it’s a bit of an awkward subject, we recently introduced a new feature that allows you to review your product anonymously

Girlfriends, life has far too much to offer for you to waste time worrying about these occasional embarrassing moments that put a dent in your day!  Want to try Poise Liners for free?  If you’d like to be considered for this opportunity, please take a moment to complete this short survey.

Good luck!

@CrystalDawn, nope you're not alone! It is much more common than people realize. No one should ever feel like a freak about it. It's just about being educated and prepared. :)

Ooh yikes, I had a sitch yesterday evening at an aerobics class. Wish I would've been wearing one of these!

Ugh. I'm sad to say I hope I'm chosen to try these, lol! I didn't understand what LBL was until it started to happen to me. I'm 39 and haven't had children, but a couple of years ago I was diagnosed with a very severe B12 deficiency that was mimicking MS. Most of the frightening symptoms have been corrected, but there's a little bit of nerve damage left that causes me to have little pee-pees when I sneeze, stand up, or just for no reason. I had NO idea it was so common until recently! At least I don't feel like such a freak now, lol!

LBL-ers unite! :)

@Ali & @jmca - I totally agree with you, but as someone who has had this happen before (yes, I'm outing myself and I AM EMBARRASSED!), just like having a menstrual malfunction, a tinkle in your pants after a big sneeze is definitely something you'd rather people not know is happening to you :)

Moms-to-be out there, advice I wish I'd followed can be summed up in 2 words: Kegel exercises!

JMCA, I totally agree with you. It's just part of life and something most will experience at one point or another. People should never have to be embarrassed about anything they can't control. The only thing that should bring a person shame is their actions or a bad personality and that is something we can all learn to control.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about.
