We Love Fridays: Leopard Platform Heels

Posted by Alexandra C. | Friday November 11, 201118 comments

Can't we all use a little fantasy in our lives?

On that basis alone, this Friday, I am loving these Charlotte Olympia Polly Cavallion Pumps in leopard print with a gorgeous red platform! While completely impractical for a Canadian winter, or really, any winter, (and pretty much any amount of time spent walking) I think these shoes are just T.D.F (i.e. To Die For)!

Isn't nice just to dream about these babies? Sure, you'd probably sprain your ankle in them and get some frost bitten toes but hey- let's focus on the positive! These are definitely the type of heels that make the boys drool and all the other shoe mad ladies mad jealous!

Adding to the impossibility of me ever owning these shoes is their price- US$905.00

Le sigh.

va va voom... it'll only make the boys drool if their girl can walk in them! LOL. Could you imagine:

"hey honey... like my new shoes?"
"oh... my... wow..."
*Blows a kiss* takes a step* falls on her face* LOL!

@ takoda ahahah love it

I love the platform and how its not hidden like most heels I see lately. Think the red gives it that little extra something, but I would prefer just the leopard part for myself (red leopard is a whole lot to handle!)

@Becky I agree with @mamaluv- splurge a bit ;) - I think you'll definitely wear them! They are what I call 'bar to car' shoes- meaning your activities for the night are restricted to being driven in cabs (i.e. no walking) and sitting in bars (i.e. no dancing) but the right shoes can totally change how you feel- you become instantly confident so go for it!

I like these, but if I were to bring them home I think my husband would think I flipped my lid and would ask what strip club I was dancing at tonight.LOL
I think they would look great with jeans, I just know my husband and the crazy thoughts that run through his small brain.LOL

Le sigh indeed!

@Becky - see if you can locate a Payless coupon to take at least a little of the sting out. They are sometimes found in those coupon books schools sell for fundraising (like the "Entertainment" book), your weekend newspaper, or maybe even online (check Payless's site and Facebook page as well as other deals sites). Then your purchase is FULLY justified ;)

very nice shoes! defo something guys drool over :-p I saw a pair of shoes at payless... and they're just to die for! They're black, peekaboo toe, hiiiigh heels. They're high in the back and front. I"ve already gone to payless three times to try them on. I think I'm going to go grab them before they go out of season and I cry about it. I mean sure it's $60 - $80 for shoes I'll probably never wear, but they're SO purrty...
