We Love Fridays: Zombie Perfume + Spooky Scents for Halloween

How would you like to smell like a Zombie? Why not? Zombies are sexy right? Kind of on the whole sexy Twilight vampire deal?

Hmmm, maybe not so much. The stench of the undead might not bring all the boys to the yard. However, if you still want to join in the Halloween spirit, Demeter Fragrance Library has released a few spooky scents that take a surprisingly feminine and fragrant approach to the holiday. Demeter is known for their true to name, concentrated smells. So I think a few of their classic scents would also be perfect for a celebration. Yes, the names may be unappealing, but take a look at the notes. I think they'll be a pleasant surprise for your nostrils!

Demeter fragrances are US$20.00 or C$15.00 at Loblaws

1. Dirt: Like we mentioned, Demeter is known for it's single scents that are true to title. This earthy, warm and moist fragrance is liking rolling yourself in dirt!

2. Earthworm: Think of that rainy, moist dirt smell you associate with worms. Think of that in a bottle and this is what you've got.

3. Elvira's Black Roses: Rose Water Tea, Thorny Stem Bulgarian Rose Petals and Davana Blossom are topped with Red Currants and anchored by an earthy Patchouli, Dark Amber and Haitian Vetiver.

4. Zombie for Her: combination of dried leaves, mushrooms, mildew, moss and earth with a touch of Dregs from the bottom of the wine barrel.

5. Elvira's Zombie: Ylang Ylang and Red Poppies, grounded with Tobacco Leaves and Black Vanilla Bean, with a frosty Methadone accord and powdery Coca Petals.

6. Elvira's Vamp: Poisonous Belladonna, Dracula Orchid and the Nicotiana plant form the deep, dark heart of this fragrance, rounded with peppery Maile Leaves and Ivy, smoothed and coordinated by a sheer veil of Madagascar Vanilla, White Musk and Mandarin Peel.

Would you wear any of these?

I bet Black Roses would not smell too bad, other than that I would not be so sure.
