I love Zooey Deschanel; she’s cool, she’s arty, she’s nerdy but in the most lovable way and she seems like she’s just here to have a good time. With a new television show coming out- New Girl and a new movie- Our Idiot Brother, Zooey is going to be on everyone's radar this fall. Here are my top three reasons why Zooey Deschanel would make the best BFF. 


#1 - You could raid her closet for awesome finds

Zooey Deschanel is known for her adorable, vintage inspired style. Her signature '50s and '60s dresses are always figure flattering, always unique. Never the fashion victim, Deschanel marches to the beat of her own drum and I’d love to get my hands on some of her outfits. 

#2 - She isn't afraid to let her inner dork out

She's no stranger to playing the quirky best friend character in movies like Failure to Launch, embracing her awkwardness and leting her deadpan delivery do the work. She seems to have fun with her career choices, whether it is choosing a role in a remake of Wizard of Oz- Tin Man or choosing to make a guest appearance in Bones, with her sister Emily Deschanel.
 
#3 - You’d get to go to her shows for free

If you haven’t heard Zooey’s indie band She & Him, with Martin Ward yet, then you need to. Influenced by the '50s and '60s, She & Him is 2 parts folk, 1 part country and 1 part pop. They’ve released two albums, and I for one am eagerly awaiting the third!
