What makes a good shampoo for you?

In high school, I did it daily. In university, several times a week. Now, on occasion.

Flat-ironing, that is. Despite my proud significant decrease in my hair-damaging (yet beautifying) regimen over past years, it's not to say that my hair couldn't use a little more loving.

Sounds like a job for Aveeno's newly launched Positively Nourishing hair care line, which we were introduced to this morning. Available since early January in drugstores ($9 CAN), the collection of shampoos and conditioners claims to help repair damaged hair in only three washes. Its Nourishing Wheat Complex strengthens damaged hair, making it less prone to breakage and resistant to future damage. The complex contains a blend that helps replenish lost moisture by targeting the weakest parts of hair and depositing a select amount of conditioners for hair to look and feel stronger, softer and shinier.

The formula was developed with a team of experts, which included a dermatologist and a hair stylist. It is gentle enough for colour-treated hair, and is safe for daily use.

5 shampoos and conditioners make up the Positively Nourishing collection. We can't wait to try Shine (for obvious reasons) and Soothe to relieve our dry, wintry scalps (more notably, it smells great).
