With thanks to Butterly, I received the Nair Wax Ready Strips (Face & Bikini) to try for free in exchange for an honest review. These little wax strips were super easy to use - no need to warm or rub them. Just separate, apply and remove. Hair-free in seconds. I was impressed with how well they worked.

Each box comes with 40 wax strips and 4 post-waxing wipes to help eliminate any last traces of wax.

I recently had an opportunity to try Lancôme’s Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum, thanks to Butterly and Lancôme in exchange for an honest review about the product. I was very excited by the idea of a powerful triple-dose serum that combined hyaluronic acid, vitamins C and Niacinamide, and ferulic acid in each pump.
After using this product for the past two weeks, my skin feels hydrated and soft. Thankfully I don’t have any visible lines/wrinkles so I cannot comment on whether their appearance has diminished.
I had a problem with the pump after using it for a short while. The pump would get clogged and I would have to unclog it by running the bottle under warm water. That would keep it unclogged for a few days. Overall, I enjoyed trying this product, and will assess once the bottle finishes whether I would splurge to buy this again. It’s a bit pricey but if I can see/feel a long-term improvement to my skin, it can replace other serums I would typically use so the cost of this could be justified.

I was excited to receive the 28cm (11") Vida by PADERNO Elite Series Stainless Steel Frying Pan for free from Butterly in exchange for an honest review. I have always found it challenging to use stainless steel pans because I'm never patient enough to wait for the pan to heat up before adding ingredients to it. But I'm learning. If you give the pan time to heat up before coating the bottom with oil and adding ingredients to cook, the food should not stick. And because it's 18/10 stainless steel, you don't have to worry about Teflon flakes getting into your food. Plus it is oven and dishwasher safe, and can be used on electric, gas, ceramic and induction cooktops. -

I absolutely loved trying the baì Antioxidant Infusion Malawi Mango as part of the recent Butterly campaign. It was such a fun and deliciously flavoured beverage, especially for this summer heatwave. It was refreshing and has only 1 gram of sugar - and 10 calories per full bottle (414 mL) serving. How awesome is that! Loved the mango so much that I also tried the Molokai Coconut version, which is also perfect for the summer. -

I was so excited to sample Chapman's Super Premium Plus Ice Cream in The Only Strawberry flavour through a Butterly promotion. I've been a fan of Chapman's for a very long time and have fond memories of their original ice cream (now branded as Markdale Creamery Ice Cream) from childhood. Those cartons were summertime staples at home. It's been great to watch this family-owned Ontario company grow over the years and expand their product offerings.
Their Super Premium Plus line is rich and flavourful. The Only Strawberry starts with a velvety vanilla base mixed with real strawberries throughout. Delicious decadence!
As with most Chapman products, it is peanut free and nut free so a great option for children and those with nut allergies. Try it and you won't regret it. You can taste the difference!

The Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Bunny Family Spring Basket was a hit with my niece. She loved opening them to discover the bunnies in the family, then promptly added these to her Playmobil farm set. Not quite to scale, but she didn't seem to mind. These were an instant hit when I visited, making me a favourite auntie. Yay! I have been using a different brand of gum protection toothpaste for several years now, and was glad to receive the Colgate Total Advanced Gum Protection Toothpaste to try as part of the Butterly campaign recently. I often battle gingivitis and other gum issues, and was curious to see how this would fare against my regular brand. After using this faithfully for a couple of weeks, I can say with confidence that Colgate Total Advanced fared well, kept my breath smelling minty fresh, and had the added benefit of teeth whitening and 12 hours of antibacterial protection. I was pleasantly surprised and can see this replacing my regular toothpaste, particularly if it can be found on sale! I love a good deal. -

I enjoyed the sample of COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream that I received from ChickAdvisor. The cream was gel-like in consistency and absorbed quickly into my skin. It seemed to keep my face moisturized for many hours. I would have liked more product to sample in order to discern the longer term benefits of this water cream, but I guess it's a good reason for me to pick up a full-sized version to confirm if this is a good economical option for me. -

I've been a fan of Tazo Organic Chai Black Tea since the beginning. Once I realized that Starbucks' Chai Latte was made with Tazo tea, I started to buy the tea bags to make it at home. There is a lovely balance in the flavours so that it does not overpower, but still transports me away during a much needed afternoon break. While all of the teas by Tazo are great, this is my favourite and Awake English Breakfast would be a runner up. If you're looking to spice up your day, give this tea a try. -
