NIVEA Protect & Care Anti-perspirant/Deodorant
I do like Nivea's protect & care antiperspirant/deodorant, but I am not sure if I will replace my usual brand. It's definitely effect enough to continue using the sample until it's all gone, but I think it's just slightly less effective in stopping... +
I do like Nivea's protect & care antiperspirant/deodorant, but I am not sure if I will replace my usual brand. It's definitely effect enough to continue using the sample until it's all gone, but I think it's just slightly less effective in stopping the sweat. It does work for most occasions, but I found that it wasn't very successful in dealing with stress sweat. Thankfully it did continue to deliver the odour-eliminating properties during & after the stress sweat broke, but I was a bit more moist than I'm used to. However, I do really like how moisturizing it is as my underarms do feel softer since using this product. -

I was very hesitant to try Nivea's essential lip balm at first, but now I am really glad that I got this opportunity! Without this trial program, I probably never would have switched from the lip balm I was using previously, but I think I actually like this one more. I have EXTREMELY dry, cracked, peeling lips all the time. Though it is slightly better in the summer months, it's still really bad & just downright painful & annoying in the winter. So I am curious to see how well it works come November, but for now it actually seems to have helped a bit. They're still dry & peeling, but I can say that it has slightly improved. And for me, any small improvement is a big deal. I'm trying not to get too excited about continuous results since this has happened before once I switch products, but sometimes my lips seem to develop a certain tolerance. So maybe it was just time to make any switch, but for now I am content & plan on to continue using it. -

At first I wasn't really sure what this creme was for...is it for face, hands, legs?... Then I found out that it is for all & more! Since it seemed quite thick, I decided to try it 1st on my elbows as I've noticed lately how dry & thick that skin has been feeling. I must say that it worked REALLY well at deeply hydrating them! And it wasn't just that temporary relief you get from lotions, it actually penetrated through the layers & made my elbows feel soft for days. If I have any left by the time the cold & dry weather comes, I will try it on my hands & maybe even my legs because I get very dry & cracked skin in those areas during the cooler months. I just don't know if it will be worth it for larger areas of the body like that because of the quantity that comes in the container. -

I love Nivea's creme care facial cleansing wipes! They are so gentle on the skin, yet also very effective at removing all types of makeup. I've tried several different types of facial cleansing wipes over the past few years, as I like to have them on hand. They're perfect for the end of a long night when I want to just be lazy without doing the damage to my skin that sleeping with makeup still on is known to do. After trying various brands, I would say that Nivea is probably my favourite because of how well my skin reacts to it. I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin, but I am prone to breakouts, & these wipes don't seem to aggravate it. Also, some other brands have stung my eyes, but this feels perfectly fine. The only thing deterring me from buying these wipes over & over again is the price, so I will definitely keep my eyes out for any sales &/or coupons & try to stock up then. -

This is NOT an all-in-one facial cleanser! It claims to remove makeup, but it absolutely do not. The 1st time I tried it, I thought it felt so smooth on my skin, but I got out of the shower & dried my face off only to find my foundation smeared all over my towel! Looking in the mirror, I could see that my makeup hadn't budged any more than if I just used water. I kept trying several times after, with different techniques to see if that would help, but nothing worked. This product claims to be a gentle cleanser, but it is way too gentle. So much so that even rubbing my face harshly with my fingers or a washcloth (& therefore no longer cleaning gently) still didn't remove the makeup so much as just smoosh it around.
That being said, it is a nice cleanser to use in the morning. It does feel nice against the skin when there isn't anything to get rid of, but just refresh you as you wake up. Or I could see it being a good product for people who don't wear foundation & are content with removing any eye makeup prior to washing their whole face. However, it is not the right product for me as I wear a full face of makeup on a daily basis.

There's a reason why most people call this product by their brand name 'Q-tips', not 'cotton swabs' - because Q-tips are the best! You may have to pay a little bit more for them, but for a product that's inexpensive to begin with, it's not one worth cheaping out on. I find a typical box will last me an average of 2 years, so there's no doubt in my mind that original Q-tips are the way to go. Other brands may work fine for some things, but their cotton density & fluff factor doesn't work out as well for things like precision make-up or nail polish touch-ups. -

I've been using Tresemme thermal creations heat tamer spray for a couple of years now, & plan to continue using it. Previously I had used a salon brand that was about double the price, if not more. Since switching, I've found the results to be the same without paying nearly as much, so what's not to love?! -

I'm all for products with simple ingredients...when they work. Unfortunately, I found Simple's eye makeup remover to be too gentle of a formula. I had to wipe VERY thoroughly to actually get all of the makeup off - so much so that I felt like I undid all of the 'gentle' properties it claims by being so harsh. Simply not effective enough compared to other brands I've used. -

I've purchased Pond's original fresh wet cleansing towelettes a couple of times now, & will likely buy them on occasion. I love the convenience of makeup removing towelettes, particularly on lazy evenings or after a few drinks when I postpone my typical nighttime shower to the following morning. I've tried several different brands of similar products & find that Pond's is in about the top third. Not my favourite one, but also better quality than many without having to pay a premium price. The main difference I found is that they lather more than most brands. -
