I received this as part of a Christmas gift several years ago & was thrilled to receive it. If I remember correctly, it did work quite nicely in the beginning, with excellent coverage. Although I still have it for what most people would probably consider much too long, I must say that it hasn't aged nearly as well as my cheap nail polishes of the same age. It has thickened a lot, which makes the lid very difficult to open, & now it's hard & clumpy when I try to apply it. I should probably throw it out, I just can't bring myself to do it. -
Clinique High Impact Mascara
The words 'High Impact' should mean that you see dramatic results, which I most certainly did not. It might be OK for some people that want a very natural/subtle look, but that's not what I look for in mascara. I don't normally wear mascara everyday... +

It might be OK for some people that want a very natural/subtle look, but that's not what I look for in mascara. I don't normally wear mascara everyday anyway because my lashes are naturally dark, long & flared, so when I do put on mascara, I want to see results. After just a couple hours of wear at the office, I looked in the mirror & even I could hardly tell I was wearing mascara. I do like that it doesn't make my lashes feel hard & brittle, & the formula doesn't clump, but I feel that in order to see a difference, you'd have to layer it so many times that those latter statements would no longer be true. Plus, this brand is more expensive than I like to normally spend & the only reason I even tried it was because of a freebie offer. I'll still use up the rest of the tube, but only for at work, not for evenings or weekends. -

I received a set of these polishes from my husband as a stocking stuffer/Christmas gift (good on him!) last year & love how smoothly they go on & how long they last! I would definitely recommend L'Oreal for nail polish because the quality is fantastic & yet you don't have to pay a fortune. In my picture you'll see that I used green for St. Patrick's day & the pigmentation was just perfect. It's easy to control the application because the concentration of the colour covers well & is often enough for just 1 quick coat without getting that undesirable uneven/streaky effect. -

With all the hype around the brand name & the cost that comes with it, I expected much more. This is the only colour I have from the Nicole by OPI line & I don't intend on buying another. I bought it because I absolutely love the colour (& I still do), but it ended up staining my nails! The rare times I use this polish, I have to make sure I always use a base coat, because the 1 time I didn't on my toes, they were stained a faded blue for the rest of the summer until my nails grew out. Also, although I've had it for over 2 years now, it hasn't aged nearly as well as any cheap brand of polish I've ever owned - it clumps like crazy & goes on so thick that I have to redo half my nails now if I try to use it. I don't think this variety does any justice to the OPI brand. -

When it comes to nail polish, I usually prefer quantity over quality because I'm no professional & I'd rather have a rainbow of different colours for the same price as just a few of the salon or other more expensive brands. I find that most at home... +
When it comes to nail polish, I usually prefer quantity over quality because I'm no professional & I'd rather have a rainbow of different colours for the same price as just a few of the salon or other more expensive brands. I find that most at home manicures only last a few days regardless, so I Pure Ice is a great brand to have fun with without having to feel guilty about indulging in. Even with it's cheap prices, it doesn't feel or look like a cheap polish because it goes on just as smoothly as any other brand, & with a top coat, lasts just as long. Definitely worth it, & I love their variety of colours! -

I tried the cookie dough variety this week & I doubt I'll buy it again. Though I can't speak for the other flavours, the inside of this one felt like grit on my teeth & the ingredients even tasted cheap.

This product does not work in my 4 1/2 year old dishwasher. It simply does not dissolve, even in high heat, so perhaps it's my dishwasher's fault in part, but the fact is, it just doesn't work for me.

This product really does most of the work for you. Works great on my tiled shower & I don't have to scrub to get off the scum unless I've waited a really long time between cleanings. This is my go-to shower cleaner & I love the reusable automatic sprayer - it saves my hands from cramping up & I can perfectly control the application. I just wish that I didn't go through it so quickly because 1 replacement bottle only lasts me about 3 cleanings. -
