Wow! That is a very difficult and under-paid job. It takes a very special person to look after elderly people. From my experience, it is the nurses that take all the credit, but really the majority of the workload falls on the shoulders of the PSWs. Also, you are treated so poorly by the nurses. I can't count the number of times that the nurses would comment, " I need to get my assistant to help me with that."
