I received the Degree Women Black + White Antiperspirant Dry Spray free to review through ChickAdvisor. I wear a lot of black at my work and have a high intensity active job. The spray goes on really quick and dries instantly. As soon as it went on it dried clear which meant there really was no white residue. The scent is really fresh and clean and doesn’t leave any scent when I sweat throughout the day. I highly recommend! -

I got this sample free to try out from chickadvisor and it came at the best time. The cold weather and extra use of hand sanitizer has really make my skin cracked and dry and this lotion reminds me of glycerine creams. There was no scent which was nice and lasted a long time. Highly recommend. -

I received the Degree® Revitalizing Botanicals Odour Protect 0% Aluminum Free Deodorant free to review from chickadvisor. I’m not a fan of gel deodorant because of the wet feel but as I applied it went on nice and dry. It left no white marks on my clothes which always happens as I wear black daily. The scent wasn’t my favourite as I applied, there was a bitter scent that turned me off. The good thing was the scent died off within an hour and didn’t leave and weird after odours. The one weird thing I noticed was that once the stick was touched it left an almost condensation like liquid on it. I’m not sure if that’s good to stay on the product though. -

I’m typically into heavily fragranced deodorant so I wasn’t sure about the scent. Throughout a long and busy day I did notice that i wasn’t as sweaty as I normally am and there was no scent. It was nice that there was no stinky smell but at the end of the day there was no deodorant scent. I normally don’t use gel because I don’t like the wet feel but it actually went on dry. I was very pleasantly surprised. #degreealuminumfree -

I’ve been self tanning for years but this year is the first time I haven’t had a natural face tan (due to indoor isolation) so I wanted a tan but too scared to use my typical foam and lotion.
The St Tropez bronzing serum was $39 when I picked it up at Shoppers and it is really high in price for me. I tried it after a shower and noticed first that it smelled amazing. Wasn’t heavy on the skin and applied easily and evenly. I noticed that over the course of a few hours I bronzed you considerably even with just 2 pumps and 1 application. I will definitely add to my evening moisturizer to keep the gradual glow.

I received the Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam with Coconut Milk free to review from Chickadvisor. I have processed dyed hair that over the past year I have found is starting to get really brittle. I tend to wash my hair 2-3 times a week to keep the hair from drying out more. On one of the unwashed days I tried the cleansing foam and found that I made my hair feel really thick and heavy. It didn’t feel refreshed and it didn’t take away any of the oils. I also found the smell not to be a refreshing clean coconut smell but almost rotten. Like spoiled milk. I don’t think this product is for me. -

I received Motrin Super Strength Liquid Gels free to review through Chickadvisor. I found that the product is great for targeted pain such as tension headaches that I get frequently from my work where I’m in front of a computer all day.
Most recently I had menstrual cramps which I have found now as I am getting older are much worse. Over the past few months I get woken up in the middle of the night from extreme pain. Just one of the liquid gels is strong enough to ease any f the pain and within minutes I feel 100% again.

I received the NYX On the Rise volume mascara free to test from chickadvisor. I’m really disappointed to say that this is one of the worst mascaras I have ever tried. The shape of the brush on the wand was bulky and wavy which make it difficult to coat the lower lashes which resulted in the mascara getting smeared on my face and on the top lashes it wouldn’t go on properly on the corners. The bristles of the brush are super sharp and when I tried to go in right at the start of the lash the bristles jabbed my eye and made my eyes swollen and tears streaked down my face making my makeup ruined. I tried this a couple times after and the formula gets really chunky and goopy so you can’t layer. I had to throw it out. -

I got the NYX lingerie push up lipstick in shade embelishment free to test from Chickadvisor. I really loved the size and shape of the lipstick. It went on surprisingly smooth as I thought the formula would be hard like a lip liner but it was super easy to apply. It dried down nicely with no stickiness. The only thing was that this shade was a little too dark for my pale/pink skin. My fiancé told me I looked goth. I’ll probably pick this up in a more nude pink. -
