The Canadian cold air really takes a toll on my poor scalp in the winter time, so I thought I'd give this product a shot to prevent a chronically flaky scalp. After my first use, I could tell an immediate difference. My scalp was not itchy, and I did not have little flakes throughout my hair. I don't have severe dandruff, so I don't know how it will fair for those individuals. But, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with dandruff caused by dry, winter air. This product is expensive, but I only use it once a week so it stretches out. -

I typically purchase Biore pore strips, but they can be quite pricey. When I saw the price for these, I thought I'd give them a chance. These pore strips are effective, but the biggest problem I have with them is that they stick to my face too well. These are much more painful to remove than the Biore strips and I think they are less effective than Biore too. I've heard about pore strips potentially damaging the skin, and if any strip were to do that, I think it'd be these. Because of the pain-factor, and the fact they are less effective, I don't think I'd purchase these again. I'd rather pay more for the more effective product and use it less often. -

I purchased this product because I saw rave reviews on YouTube and the price was amazing! I purchased it on sale at Shoppers for a ridiculously cheap price for a drug store brand. First of all, I have very pale skin and have difficulty in finding foundations which are light enough for my skin. I could only ever use Revlon foundation, but it is (what I consider to be) expensive for a drug store brand. I'm so glad I took a chance on this product because it matches my skin tone so well, while covering hyperpigmentation caused by acne. I don't find that this really mattifies my skin, but it does a decent job of keeping the shine at bay. It lasts all day and my only criticism is that if I have drying up acne spots, it'll cling to the dry skin. But, I can deal with that to continue using my now favourite and holy grail foundation. -

I was very excited to have the opportunity to try this unflavoured protein powder by BOOST for free from Chick Advisor.
As a vegetarian, any additional ways to add protein to my diet is a bonus. I typically use flavoured protein powders/mixes in smoothies, but I've never tried a product that can be added to baked goods like this product! I've added this powder to peanut butter protein balls, banana bread, and pancakes, and I did not notice any texture or flavour difference. All my baked goods came out the exact same as they would have without the protein powder.
As for smoothies, I only notice that it thickens the shake. There is no funny after taste, or artificial flavours. I'm very happy to know that this is a simple product with only whey and soy. Overall, I'm very glad that I was selected to try this product. Of all the protein powders/mixes I've tried in the past, I think this may be my top pick. This product is clean, and much more versatile than any other concentrated protein I know of.

The problem with my hair is that it's flat on top, and poofy at the bottom, so I don't think a volumising conditioner is really for me. I think if you suffer from limp hair, this product would work well for you because it's such a delicate product. But for someone with frizzy hair, this conditioner won't do the job. Overall, the quality is very nice and the scent is wonderful, it just doesn't really work for me in the winter. -

I purchased this Garnier Micellar water because you get a lot of product for the price, versus other regular eye makeup removers. Regular eye makeup removers tend to be oily, don't remove all the product, and leave my eyes a puffy mess. This product does the opposite of all those things -- it easily removes waterproof mascara and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. Very effective and a fantastic product! -

I've been using this moisturizer for the past month and it has made such a great impact in my skin! I used to wake up everyday with new whiteheads, but since using this product I wake up with none. Or, if I notice a flare up and I put the lotion on before I go to bed, the spot is completely gone. I use this in conjunction with clean and clear toner, which I think really benefits my skin. I think this will be my new go-to lotion for now on! It contains salicylic acid, and when you put this on your skin, it feels nice and minty. I think it's definitely worth a try for anyone dealing with clogged pores, whiteheads, and blackheads. -

This is THE BEST colour kit I have ever purchased. I used to use Belle colour, simply because I'm a poor student and can't afford too much. But I found this Revlon colour at Dollarama, it wasn't expired, so I took a gamble and boy am I ever glad I did. I can't believe how lovely this product is. I went back and bought every last box in my colour because I can't find this in any other store! It's incredibly simple to use, not messy, doesn't have a very nasty smell like Belle. And the colour in the end is gorgeous! On my hair, it makes it look like I have subtle highlights -- they claim 3D hair and you get dimensional hair colour. I used champagne blonde, and my hair has red/copper undertones naturally. It didn't turn out too ashy, washed out, or look unnatural. Hands down, best hair colour I've ever used. -

I had never used a beauty bar before, but these were on sale so I took a chance. First of all, the scent is amazing -- truly revitalizing like it claims. As someone who has acne prone skin, I was afraid this would be too moisturizing and cause flare ups, but this left my skin soft and supple. I now use this bar at night, and my acne facial cleanser in the morning, and it has improved the overall look of my skin. It looks much healthier because I think this has helped with some of my skin/acne issues. -

My sister made a big order of k-cups and received some green teas for free. She's not a fan so she passed them off to me and after trying them, I wish she hadn't. These teas are so unbelievably weak. It's like drinking a mug of hot water that had been sitting in a kettle for about a week, and then boiled. I think regular hot water would've tasted better. I thought I just had a dud k-cup, so I tried all the rest in my machine and hers, and they all tasted the same. Maybe we just got a bad batch, but I would never buy this product. -
