As I'm getting older, I'm trying to be good and use a daily SPF and finding one has been hard. Pretty much every SPF breaks me out and this one is no different. I tested it on my chin just to try it out before doing my whole face and it immediately burned. The next day I had little bumps clearly from irritation. I didn't apply it the second day and the bumps quickly went away. I tried it on and off a few more times but the irritation bumps kept occurring, so having a final verdict is clouded by the fact it doesn't agree with my skin.
It left a film on my face. I'm lily white and it still left a whiteish cast that would pill off when I rubbed my face. It didn't absorb in the slightest and felt very heavy. It just made my skin feel very sticky and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this product because I think it's a hefty price tag for such a small bottle, and especially when playing around with something like SPFs that commonly break people out. It just isn't worth it.

This serum is milky with shimmer, which I think is the 'illuminating' part of the product description. I don't see the point of the shimmer because it just looks like glitter on my face -- like fallout from eyeshadow. I don't think it's necessary especially since I use serums at night. At first it felt heavy on my face. So each night I used less and less, and I believe less is key for those of us with oily skin. You have to have a light hand because this plus the gel cream can feel too heavy. After a week of using the entire regimen I have had smoother skin but I don't think it's due to the serum. I think the serum has evened out the appearance of my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I had quite a bit on my chin, jaw, and cheeks, and I've noticed the redness has been greatly reduced since starting this line. Overall, it's an okay product, but I likely wouldn't purchase because I can't tell what exactly this has done for my skin. I feel like there are more affordable serums on the market to target specific skin issues as opposed to this one.

I was very fortunate to have been selected by Chickadvisor to test out this product for free. I found that this isn't as light as the other gel creams I've tried. A little of this goes a long way, so even though it's only 50mL, it'll likely last a while. It contains shimmery flecks to help illuminate the skin. I didn't notice that at first. It was noticeable when in direct sunlight and I was confused as to how I got gold shimmer all over my face. It isn't super evident from afar, but you'll see each individual fleck if you get too close.
I'm happy that it didn't break me out, which is my biggest issue when trying out new moisturizers. I used this product morning and night, and after a week the existing texture on my skin that wouldn't go away has disappeared. I think it is effective, but I really dislike that it doesn't absorb into my skin. My skin is constantly tacky throughout the day and my face sometimes sticks to my pillow at night. I tried using less thinking I was applying too much but that had no difference. It's also not great under makeup. Either the moisturizer or my foundations pilled up and rolled off my face. This moisturizer is probably fine if you're not going anywhere, but not for days you want to leave the house. Because of that, I don't really think it's worth it. I likely wouldn't purchase once this is used up.

I was very fortunate to have been selected by Chickadvisor to test out this product for free. I typically exfoliate three times a week, so that's what I did with this product. When I first tried it out, it felt exactly like the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Exfoliant. I had received a free sample of that from Sephora and loved it, but couldn't stomach the ridiculous price tag. So I'm very happy that I had the chance to discover this product! I could literally buy 9 of these for the price of 1 Dr Brandt...I'll stick to Neutrogena!
The product itself has a very fine grit. Some exfoliants with a larger grit really irritate my skin and leave lingering redness. The Neutrogena Micro Polish is very gentle and would likely be a great exfoliant for those with sensitive skin. I don't think I noticed any 'brightening' effects per se, but I noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin. I was having big issues with texture around my chin and on my temples. After using this for a week, in combination with the other products in the Bright Boost line, my skin is so smooth to the touch. My regular exfoliant couldn't tackle it, but this one sure did!
Overall, I really love this product and will definitely purchase when it runs out. It doesn't irritate my skin, it didn't break me out, and it improved the texture of my skin. It's everything I could ever want out of a physical exfoliant. I did notice a bit of a fragrance when I first used it, but I've gotten used to it. The scent is mild so shouldn't be an issue unless your skin reacts to fragrance. I highly recommend!

This is hands down the worst lotion I've ever used. I received a free sample and I'm glad I did instead of wasting my money on this product. The instructions on the package say to use a pea sized amount, so I did. My skin felt so tight and dehydrated I had to add another lotion on top. Online the instructions say to use a dime sized amount, so I did. It goes on like Elmer glue. It leaves white residue/streaks/cast all over your face and doesn't absorb AT ALL. It just kind of sits there and disappears over time as it dries. Your skin feels tight because it sits on top of the skin instead of sinking into it. I have very oily skin and this is way too 'lightweight' for me. It feels like I constantly have a clay mask on my face. It's uncomfortable and not hydrating in the slightest. Terrible product. -

I got a deluxe sample of this mascara from Sephora and was super excited to try it out. The first thing that I absolutely love about it is the brush! I'm 100% washing and keeping the brush for future use. It separates my lashes better than any brush I've ever used before. It feels really gentle on my lash line and easily moves the product from length to tip. It's a nice dense brush and feels excellent quality. The only thing I don't like about this product is that the formula makes my lashes fall (it doesn't hold my curl). That's probably just due to my lash-type, but if it did hold a curl it would be the perfect product. The formula itself is nice -- it evenly coats the lashes, no clumps, doesn't have a strong smell to it like some other mascaras I've used. Overall, it's a decent product. I won't buy it again because the formula makes my lashes fall and stick straight out. Other than that it seems like a nice formula with an excellent brush. -

When I first applied it I felt like it had a cooling sensation. But the biggest thing for me about this lotion is how fast it absorbs. I usually use Nivea body lotion and find that I have to wait around a bit for it to fully absorb. But this product felt like my skin soaked it up instantly. It didn't feel sticky or like it left a film on my skin. It made my skin soft to the touch probably within seconds of application. I think this will be my new body lotion from now on! I'll definitely be purchasing once all my other lotions are used up.

I recently received a sample of this bar in the mail. I LOVE Reese's peanut butter cups and pieces, so adding that with caramel sounded like a dream come true. And it was.
Seeing that it's a peanut butter caramel bar, with Reese's pieces, I was afraid that it would be overly sweet. I didn't find it overwhelming. It had the perfect balance between sweet and salty peanut butter. The Reese's pieces added a nice textural quality to the bar. At 200 calories, I don't think this bar does too much damage at all. It's a nice treat to have once in a while.
Overall I'm a big fan of this bar. It isn't overly sugary sweet, and it isn't a punch of peanut butter in your face. It's a nice balance between caramel and peanut butter, with a good crunch of Reese's pieces. I didn't feel ill after eating it like I do after some other chocolate bars. And at 200 calories I don't find it to be a 'bad' dessert at all. :)

As a faithful user of gel eyeliners, I was curious to try out a waterproof eyeliner pencil. I never had success in the past with pencils -- they would always fade throughout the day or smudge too easily. This liner is not at all like that and really surprised me! It goes on smooth, creamy, and can easily be smudged out into a wing. It kind of reminds me of my gel liner but in a pencil form! After it sets it doesn't budge! I put it on in the morning (8 am) and it's still a rich colour by the time I wash it off in the evening (6-ish pm). I purchased the colour Brown Perfection and it's a beautiful deep, rich brown. It looks fantastic with my hazel eyes and seems to bring out the green a bit more. I really love this product and the fact that it doesn't smudge on my oily eyelids! I think I may have to transition from my gel liner to this one! Highly recommend. -

I was really underwhelmed after using this product and am really disappointed. I've heard people rave about this liner for a long time and I was excited to try it. But once I started using it I found it really finicky. It didn't draw a clean line -- it seemed like it was skipping in places. I would try going over it multiple times but it was like it wouldn't draw on my lid. I applied it without any primer or powder, so it's not like the product was reacting or interfering with another. Also, the second time I started using it, the felt(?) part started flaking and crumbling. I don't know if I received a bad/old one, but I wasn't expecting that. One thing I can remark is how black it is. It's jet black and doesn't fade throughout the day. It's also not waterproof. I can easily rub it off my eyes with my finger. Overall, super disappointed because of the hype and the price. There are better, cheaper alternatives or just use a gel liner. -
