I've been looking for a moisturizer to sufficiently hydrate my skin without leaving it feeling greasy, so after some research I decided to try out this product by The Ordinary. I am AMAZED at how hydrating it is, and it leaves me skin feeling so soft! The container isn't too big, but a little goes a long way. This has officially become an essential in my skincare routine! -

I just received this today in the mail, and I was so excited to try it out. I have perpetual dark circles beneath my eyes due to not sleeping well, and I was AMAZED at how might brighter they turned almost immediately after applying this! I am completely BLOWN AWAY by The Ordinary and their skincare line; such amazing ingredients, and completely affordable! I will most definitely be buying this again! -

I received the sample shade 'Mochi' from Sephora as a Canada Day promotion. I chose this freebie because I loved my sample of Bite Beauty's Amuse Bouche Lipstick, but this formula is far different. It is just as pigmented as the Amuse Bouche, but definitely not long-wearing. This is likely due to blendability purposes, so that you can also use it on your cheeks and eyelids, as it claims on the Sephora website. I'm not really a one-for-all solution type of person, so I can't see myself every purchasing this, but if you like putting lipstick on your eyes and cheeks... well, I'd say, go for it! -

I received the shade 'Beetroot' as a freebie from Sephora, and I am IN LOVE. The colour, the vibrance, the formula, and the price of the full size all fit within my lipstick standards. AND, like the Marc Jacobs Beauty lip creme, I find it stains my lips the colour of the lipstick, making it all the more long-wearing! Definitely going to look into investing in some more Bite Beauty lip colours! -

I received the shade 'Peacemaker' as a sample from Sephora, and to be honest, it wasn't all that bad. It definitely doesn't last like other lipsticks, and if I had bought it for myself I think I'd have chosen a much different nude shade, but it does go on very smooth and moisturizes your lips. Unfortunately, for what it is, I do think the price is a bit unreasonable. -

I primarily purchased this palette because it contains a pretty close dupe of MAC's retired eyeshadow in the shade 'Steamy', and also because it seemed to feature a lot of duochrome colours. Unfortunately, from what I can tell thus far, only about 3 of the shades are actually duochrome, while the others are just shimmery. Not sure why they looked so much more iridescent in the swatches online, but in the palette's defense, the pigments do stand out pretty well, at least. All in all, not a bad palette, just not exactly what I was hoping for. -

I purchased this last year with a gift card from Sephora, because it came highly recommended. Honestly, the product is fine, but I didn't really feel it was worth the price. It is no more effective than any other drugstore eyelash primer I have used. Don't regret buying it, but probably wouldn't buy again, even if Benefit became cruelty-free. -

I bought this a few years ago before switching to cruelty-free cosmetics, because it came highly rated online. Honestly, there is nothing wrong with the mascara; it performs just as well as any other mascara on the market. But I believe that is its downfall, especially considering the price. I am certain there are numerous drugstore dupes for the same effectiveness as this product. For that reason, I don't feel it is really worth the price. -

Since I'm a huge fan of matte liquid lipsticks, I was extremely eager to try out BH Cosmetics' line. For the price, i couldn't afford NOT to! I purchased the shades Serena and Sorbet, and while the latter is just a tad too light for my skin (it's impossible to tell when you're ordering online without the ability to swatch), the quality is AMAZING! If you like the Kat von D liquid lipsticks, then this gives them a run for their money, for sure. The shades are highly pigmented, and they will sure as heck stay on all day long! Mine stayed on through an intensely sweaty workout and eating supper (that said, I definitely recommend exfoliating and moisturizing your lips, or else they have the potential to dry them out). You'll have to use an oil-based cleanser to take it off; even the swatches on my hands didn't budge after washing them throughout the day! I can't wait for BH to release more colours! -

I made this purchase in my most recent BH Cosmetics haul, and while I don't have any of their other foil eyeshadow palettes, I know for a fact that this is already my favourite. The palette consists of jewel-tones, pastels, and some neutrals, and delivers a LOT of shine! So far I've only swatched the palette, and like many BH palettes, I do find that the pigments apply more intensely when using a wet eyeshadow brush. So you can either give yourself a splash of colour, or add water for an intensely dramatic look. 5/5 easily! -
