I got a sample of this product from Sephora, and since I used to use Cover FX foundation, I figured there was no harm in trying it out. For a mattifying, anti-acne primer, I have to saw I found the formula to be very oily feeling, and did not sink into my skin quickly at all. That said, my foundation applied just fine over it, so possibly the thickness of the product moisturizes your skin so your face doesn't feel the need to produce excess sebum. All the same, I'm not sure if I would purchase it, myself, since there are many other primers with salicylic acids in them that are probably less expensive. -

Not only have my eyes been constantly dry since my acutane regimes, but apparently, according to my partner (who has photo evidence...), I also tend to sleep with my eyes slightly open. Weird, I know, but that contributes to the dryness, sometimes to the point that my eyes hurt really badly in the morning. To remedy this, I've started wearing an eye mask while sleeping to keep my eyes completely shut, but I've also been liberally applying this gel product. I find eye drops don't last through the night, but due to the gel consistency of this, it manages to keep my eyes hydrated well enough until morning. For those out there who (like me) have stubbornly dry eyes, this product is for you! -

Ever since my acutane regimes, my eyes have become extremely dry, so my optometrist recommended this brand to me. It not only lubricates the surface of your eyes, but it also helps to gradually replace/repair the lipid layer that keeps them moisturized and prevents ulcers from forming. I do find you need to give it time to really do its job, and it wasn't until about a month of frequent use that I found it made a difference, but now I only have to use it occasionally to keep my eyes hydrated. -

I recently got a sample of this with a purchase from The Body Shop. I'm typically not one for Body Butters, as I find them really greasy and don't usually have dry skin, but honesty, I'd say this is on the less-greasy end as far as body butters go. I really like the fact that it includes green tea, which is a great antioxidant for the skin, especially since we often focus so much on our face that we forget to treat the rest of the skin on our body. If I did go to purchase a body butter, I would highly consider this one, for the lack of greasiness and skin care properties! -

I received a sample version of this from Sephora, and I was so excited to find that it contained glycolic acid! I've used it a few times in the morning in lieu of my glycolic fix exfoliating pads from Nip+Fab, and it actually makes it so that I can skip that step entirely. For any lazy skin care enthusiasts (like me) out there, this is an ideal cleanser/exfoliant that won't irritate your skin, and leaves a bright, clean surface for the remainder of your skincare routine! -

Ever since trying out the Glamglow: Supermud Clearing Mask, I have been committed to find a cruelty-free dupe. After hours of research, I decided to try the Body Shop's Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. I must say, I am impressed, and I am calling DUPE on this product! Just like Glamglow, it dries lighter, with little spots around your pores where the mud is settling into the more oily parts of your skin. It was a little more difficult to take off, and if you have sensitive skin, I suggest you wet it over and over until you can gentle peel it away with your fingernail. But if you don't mind the rough, exfoliating properties of the mask, then you could just scrub! I am so happy to have found this, and it just goes to show that you don't necessarily need to feel deprived by going cruelty-free! :) -

I used this a few years ago when I was afraid my acne was in the process of recurring after my third go at acutane, and I have to say, it really put the breakouts in their place! Sadly, this brand isn't cruelty-free, and I also have better ways of treating my acne. But for those who aren't into lengthy, complicated skin care regimes and don't care about being cruelty-free, then I'd for sure recommend this. -

I used this back when I was afraid of putting oil on my face, but in hindsight, it wasn't super moisturizing. At least, my face didn't feel moisturized for very long, probably due to the lack of oil. That said, it didn't bother my acne, either, so I guess it has that going for it. I wouldn't purchase again for a number of reasons, but primarily, I've found much better moisturizers that better meet my skin's needs. -

I used this product for years during and after my mane acutane treatments, as the dermatologist recommended I use something very gentle on my skin. It definitely did the trick, and for a facial cleanser, if you buy the large containers, it's really worth the money. I only stopped when I switched to cruelty-free products, but if the brand ever went the way of being cruelty-free, I'd probably use it again. -

I tried this brand out a few years ago, but it didn't work for me. I even applied it at nighttime, as you're supposed to, but my underarms would still be moist from perspiration in the morning. Apparently, I'm too sweaty for clinical strength! Might work for others who don't sweat quite as much, but if you perspire at the drop of a hat like I do, then I recommend Certain Dri antiperspirant. It's the only one I've found that actually works! -
