I received a 2oz bottle of Sebastian Trilliance Professional condition for free to try out a few weeks ago along with the shampoo that is meant to be use with it. You can buy an 8.45 oz of Sebastian Professional Trilliance condition at amazon.com for $19.30. I hated the results I got with the shampoo and I didn’t have much better luck with this conditioner. My hair was full of knots by the time I had rinsed out the shampoo and I had a bad feeling that this conditioner wouldn’t be able to help me out of the mess I was in. It did how ever go on nicely and as I rinsed it out of my hair it felt nice and soft and it seemed to be removing the knots from my hair. Like I said it seemed to be removing the knots while it was still under running water, once I was done and had my hair in a towel I discovered that was not the case. When I took my hair out of the towel it was still a crazy mass of knots. The Sebastian Professional Trilliance Conditioner not only couldn’t help remove the knots the shampoo help me to create, it left my hair a dull dry mess with fly a ways every where. This conditioner did nothing good for my hair at all and I sure won’t be buying it for myself. At the price of $19.30 a bottle I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to you. How ever if you could get a sample like I did then I’d tell you to try it before you spend that much money on it and find out you hate it like I do. -

I received a 2oz bottle of Sebastian Trilliance Professional Shampoo for free to try out a few weeks ago. If you’d like to try it you can buy a 8.45 oz bottle on amazon.com for $13.72. I just don’t know what it is with my hair and the more expensive shampoos and conditioners that are out there, but none seem to work for me and the Sebastian Trilliance Professional shampoo wasn’t much different. I can’t tell you anything about the scent of this shampoo because my allergies are acting up right now. I can tell you that even after applying over half of the 2oz bottle of this shampoo I still could hardly get it to lather up for me. They say that their Trilliance shampoo is suppose to give you beautiful natural shine, but all it did for me was leave me with dry hair and a ton of fly a ways. I believe that shampoo of any kind is one of those products that can be a hit, or miss thing for anyone no matter the type of hair you have. For me the Sebastian Trilliance shampoo was a big miss, but it maybe a big hit for you. So I’d tell you to try and get a sample like I did before you spend your money on a full bottle and end up hating it. -

I received a free sample of LaCoupe Volume Rinse Conditioner from their web site. A 400ml bottle is available on the well.ca web site for $7.49. The LaCoupe web site doesn’t give you much info about this product, but you can read about it on the well.ca site if you wish to. My hair is long, down the middle of my back, straight as a pin and fine. This is why I wanted to try both their shampoo and this volume rinse conditioner that was made for fine hair. I was very disappointed with their Volume Amplify shampoo’s performance and was hoping the rinse would make up for it. My hair was left in a ton of knots after I had washed it with their shampoo that is pared with this conditioner. I thought for sure I was going to in for a night of combing knots out of my hair. As I said with the shampoo I can’t tell you how it smells because my allergies are preventing me from breathing right now. Like the shampoo this conditioner was also quite thick. It spread thought out my hair well and was easy enough to rinse out. As I was rinsing it from my hair I began to think that it just might be working to help remove the knots the shampoo helped to create. I was right and was very pleased with how easy I was able to comb through my wet hair. As my hair dried my pleasure with its performance was short lived. My hair looked and felt dirty, limp and stringy and the dirty feel only got worse as the day went on. With all the other products on the market today that are made to help fine limp hair, I would definitely tell you not to bother with LaCoupe Volume Rinse Conditioner or the shampoo that is made to go with it. -

I received a free sample of LaCoupe Volume Amplify Shampoo from their web site. A 400 ml bottle is sold on the well.ca web site for $7.49. The LaCoupe web site doesn’t tell you much about this product other then it is made to add thickness and fullness to fine limp hair, witch I have. How ever the well.ca does give you more info if you’re interested in reading about it other then what I have to say. My hair is very long, down the middle of my back, straight as a pin and fine, so I thought this shampoo would be perfect for me. I honestly can’t tell you if it has a pleasant scent to it or not because thanks to my allergies I can’t smell a thing right now. It’s a fairly thick shampoo that I was expecting to lather up well, but this wasn’t the case at all!! I couldn’t get it to lather up for me even after applying the whole package that they sent me. I was very disappointed with LaCoupe Volume Amplify Shampoo and if you have fine limp hair like I have, then I wouldn’t recommend you bother spending your money on it -

When I went to the Ladies Expo a few weeks ago there was an Avon both there. They were selling Avon makeup and some of their other products that they carry. They had surprise gift bags for sale for $5 and $10. I’ve never used Avon before even though they have been around for many many years, so I thought what the heck it can be that bad and I bought a $10 bag. It had well over $10 worth of Avon products inside of the bag and one thing was their Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. You can buy a 60ml bottle for $3.99 on the Avon web site. I finally gave it a try last night. If it does have a scent to it I couldn’t tell because my allergies have bin acting up and it would have had to bin a pretty strong scent for me to smell it. It’s a nice thick lotion, kind of like a hand lotion, not runny at all. Do to its texture you can either just apply it with your finger tips, or apply some to a cotton pad and then apply it to your eye's. I applied it with my finger tips and I didn’t experience and burning, or stinging as it was working. I could feel my mascara coming off as I gently rubbed it around my eye areas. Then I used a cotton pad to wipe it all off. This part I didn’t care for at all. Yes the lotion and mascara came off onto the pad, but the cotton the pad is made of also came apart getting caught in my eye lashes. It was easy enough to use and fairly effective, but I don’t care for the process of removing mascara with a cotton pad at all. The lotion left my eye’s clean and soft but like I said I don’t care for this process. So I’m on the fence with the Avon’s Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. For you to like it I believe it would completely depend on how you like to remove your mascara. If you don’t mind using a cotton pad to remove your eye makeup then I say yes give it a try. How ever if your like I am and don’t like to use this process I’d tell you to try something else. -

I also received my NYX The Crimson Amulet Collection Inspired by Dark Shadows makeup kit for free in my Sept GlossyBox. I must admit that I have never seen the show, or movie. All I even knew about it was what I’ve heard from people talking about it witch wasn’t much. So I wasn’t sure what I was going to find when I open the case. To my surprise the case was filled with twenty-four matte and shimmery eye shadows with four two sided eye shadow applicators on the inside cover and on the next page I guess you call it is a 2 ½ inch by 4 inch mirror. On the next page there are five blushers, one luminous highlighter, four lip colors, one HD Studio eye shadow base and one extreme black liquid eye liner. I’ve only used a few things out of it, but so far so good. The eye shadow that I have tried goes on very nice and stays put. I always use a black liner whether it’s a pencil, or a liquid liner and I found this liquid liner to be pretty nice. As for the lip colors, I wasn’t too thrilled with the colors and I agree with Bren, they do feel too sticky on. The rest of the products I haven’t tried, but the blushers don’t look like colors I’d care for. I’ve seen this makeup kit sell for any where from $9.99 to $25 depending on witch web site you go to that’s selling it, but I wouldn’t pay any more then the $9.99 for it. I think the NYX The Crimson Amulet Collection Inspired by Dark Shadow makeup kit would make a nice Christmas gift for and young girl just starting to use makeup, or for any woman that enjoys makeup. -

I received my Royston Soapworks Oatmeal Milk and Honey Soap in my last Sweet Delight box last month. The Royston Soapworks web site says one bar of this sells for $6, but it doesn’t say how big the bar is. I can’t even tell you how big mine was weight wise, but it was about half the size of a bank card. I’m not sure if the bar of soap you would order from their web site would be the same size or not. My Oatmeal milk and honey soap is made up of olive oil, distilled water, coconut oil, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, oatmeal milk, honey fragrance oil and oatmeal. You can not only see the flakes of oatmeal in the soap, but you can feel it as you rub it on your skin, exfoliating and soothing your dry skin as you wash. To me it has a light lavender scent to it although they don’t mention that as one of the ingredients. It’s a very nice exfoliating bar of soap and it surprisingly lasts a lot longer then I thought it would. It does take some work to get it to lather up for you, but when it does it does a nice job. This was my first time ever trying a home made soap and I wasn’t expecting to get much out of it. I get very dry skin once the heat is turned on for the winter and this soap made my dry skin feel wonderful. The best part about it was that I never felt to need to apply lotion to my skin after using it. It made my skin feel great with out adding any kind of lotion. I’ll definitely be buying more soap from Royston Soapworks and would recommend you give it or one of they're many other products a try. -

I received my Bee’s Knee’s Bodyworks Lip Balm Shimmer Stick for free in my Sweet Delight’s box last month. Mine came in their Butter cream Frosting and it smells good enough to eat. You can also buy their shimmer stick in Pink Bubblegum, Root Beer Float and Cucumber melon. A 2 gram tube sells on their web site for $4.25 U.S and shipping to Canada is another $3. They describe my Butter cream Frosting lip balm as smelling just like a vanilla cupcake and they are right! You can wear it alone, or over a lipstick. It gives you a nice light shine to your lips and the lovely scent sticks with you for sometime although it has no taste. It soothes and moisturizes your lips and is made with shea butter, macadamia nut oil, jojoba oil, coca butter vitamin E oil and is 99% natural. I’m really enjoying my Bee’s Knee’s Shimmer Stick in their Butter Cream Frosting scent and I’m sure you would too. -

I got my Vi.Be Fragrance stick in my Sweet Delight box. My perfume stick came in their Island Sparkle scent and it very nice, but it’s also available in eight other scents. You can buy a 14gram Vi.Be Fragrance stick from their web site for $18, but they also have several available in a 4.2 gram stick for only $7.50 that’s also available in eight scents. It almost looks like a lip balm, but it’s a solid perfume. Vi.Be makes their Fragrance stick with quality bee’s wax, shea butter, special fragrances and Vitamin E. My Island Sparkle has fruity floral notes along with notes of Tuberose, Mango Cucumber, Aquatic Melody, Lime, Pineapple and Heliotrope. The Island Sparkle scent leaves a light pleasant scent where ever you wear it and if you close your eye’s you can almost see the beautiful tropical islands that it was meant to smell like. Their web site even says you can even add some to your hair. That’s not something I’ll be doing, but if you like to you can. I’m very happy with my Vi.Be Island Sparkle Fragrance stick. I think they would make great little gifts for the girl’s in your life, or just for you. -

Tide Pods came out earlier this year and I’ve tried them a few times through sample programs. They do clean just as well as the other Tide laundry soap products, but I’m not too thrilled with them. The difference in price just doesn’t make it worth the cost for me. I do a lot of wash through the week ever day of the week and I go through a lot of laundry soap. Even with the stain remover and brightener added to the pod it doesn’t make it a good deal for me. You can get more in a bottle of liquid Tide, or other brand then you can with the pods for less money. I use to buy nothing but Tide, but over the last few years I’ve change to Sunlight because it cleans just as well as Tide, but it doesn’t cost as much. Even though I don’t mind the Tide Pods I just don’t see the value in them to buy any and wouldn’t recommend them to you. I’ve also heard of children getting sick because they’ve gotten a hold of them thinking they are candy and have eaten them. I realise that’s more on the parents then the children, but it’s a scary thought. So the new Tide Pods gets thumbs down from me. -
