I used the original Rub A535 cream for years for sore muscles after running, for sore backs and pretty much any where it hurt. As I’ve gotten old the discs in my neck have collapsed and cause me a lot of pain. How ever I also have a bad stomach so pain pills can up set it a lot. My husband also doesn’t like to take pain pills for his sore muscles and asked me to buy him something he could use as well. I was looking for the regular Rub A535 that I used years ago when I came across their Extra strength cream and decided to give it a try. I remembered the old one had a very strong smell to it, but this one wasn’t as bad as the one I used years ago. Although this cream is white in colour it rubs in and disappears. It’s available in a 100g gram tube and also in a 200gram pump. You only need a small amount of cream so the tube will last quiet awhile. You can feel it start to warm on your skin as you rub it in and it starts to work into any sore area you might have. You can use it for pain from tough muscle pain, arthritic pain, rheumatic pain, lumbago and even for bursitis witch is another thing I have that causes me pain. My husband loves it and it helps all of my painful problems. If you’re looking for a pain relief that isn't another pill, then try Rub A535 Extra Strength Cream. It’s strong enough to tackle just about any type of pain you might have and you won’t have to take another pill. -

I love my new OXO Soft Works Apple Divider! It’s made so much better then my old one that was all metal. This one has a nice coating over the raised metal handles so there are no sharp edges near your hands that can cut you. This also makes it so much more comfortable to use especially if your cutting fruit for baking and you need a lot. The soft grips take the pressure off of your hands and the sharp stainless steel blades glide easily through Fruit. It not only cuts your apples, or pears into even slices, it also cores them for you in one easy push. Its prefect for making pies or if you just want a snack. Some webs sites are selling them for as much as $18.47, but I picked mine up at Walmart in Canada for only $7.97 witch I thought was a much farer price to pay and it’s the exact same divider. If you’re looking for a good apple divider that’s very comfortable to use then I highly recommend you pick up an OXO Soft Works Apple Divider. Just watch where you buy yours from and don’t get ripped off by company’s trying to sell them for too much money. -

I’ve been using Garnier’s Skin Renew Dark Spot Overnight peel for about a month now. They say this peel has been clinically proven to be effective on dullness, dark spots and discoloration when used together with their Dark Spot Treatment. I how ever have only been using the peel and have found a big difference in my skin. Unfortunately I had bad acne as a teen and I still tend to get it from time to time. This has left my skin with acne scares that I’ve been trying to do something about for years with very little results. That is until now! I have seen a big improvement in the fading of my acne scares, the evening out of my skin texture and even the age spots that were trying to form on my skin. I didn’t even realise I had age spots on my face until a few summers ago. I thought I had gotten some dirt on my forehead after gardening, but when I tried to wash it away I realized it was my skin not dirt at all. As you can imagine I was horrified. I can only see this age spot showing through during the summer when my skin gets tanned, so I really can’t say if this peel has help that part of my skin out or not, but I’m hopeful after seeing the great results I have gotten with the acne scares. The Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Overnight peel contains Glycolic Acid and Vitamin C witch are both supposed to be great for your skin. It does have a bit of a runny consistency to it, but it soaks into your skin fairly quickly. All you have to do is put some on after you have washed your face before bed and that’s it. It’s very easy to use, but there is one thing about it that I don’t like and that’s the packaging of this product. It doesn’t come with a lid witch I thought was odd. So if you do buy some and you have children, just make sure you keep it where their little hands can’t get a hold of it. Other then it not having a lid I think the Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Overnight Peel works great and it will probably work even better if you use the Dark Spot Treatment along with it as they recommend you do. -

I have sensitive teeth and I have tried a few tooth pastes that are supposed to be for sensitive teeth over this past year. How ever they only seem to work for me for a short amount of time and then my teeth become sensitive again. I found the new Crest Sensitivity Whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste a few weeks ago in my area and pick some up, thinking it can't be any worse then what I am using now. Witch wasn’t working any longer any how. I like this tooth paste for a few reasons. The first thing you notice about it is how thick it is. It’s so thick that it’s kind of hard to get out of the tube. The next thing is that there doesn’t seem to be much of a taste to it; all though it does freshen up your mouth well and it also leaves you with a nice clean feeling. Some toothpaste on the market are just to strong for me taste wise, I like a more mild tasting tooth paste so this one was perfect for me. I’ve only been using it for a short amount of time like I said, so I can’t say if it actually whitens like they claim it does, but the most important thing about it is that it works! As long as you use it twice a day as recommended then you will see a different in your teeth’s sensitivity with in the first day. At least I sure did and I have continued to have protection from hot and cold things since that first day. I’m just hoping that this new Crest Sensitivity Whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste continues to work for me unlike the others I’ve tried in the past and I love that it’s made by my favourite brand that I’ve used for years, Crest. If you enjoyed using Crest toothpaste and had to stop using it because your teeth became sensitive, then you should give the new Crest Sensitivity Whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste a try too. -

Granite Falls Farm Sage & Citrus hand cream is hand made in Maine and all of their creams are made from pure bee’s wax witch is naturally healing and hydrating. They also contain essential oils, water, sodium borate and fragrance oils. If you don’t care for your creams to have fragrance in them they are also available in fragrance free. How ever if you do like scented creams they are available in Sage & Citrus like mine, Honeysuckle, Rose, Gardenia, Lilac, Dancing Waters, Lemon Grass, Cucumber Melon, Lavender and Cedar wood. A 2 oz container sales for $16 on their web site and they do take pay pal. Just a small amount will moisturize soften and sooth all of your skin, not just your hands and the Sage & Citrus smells heavenly. A little really goes a long way as only a small amount is required pre application. It blends in very quickly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy in any way. I received mine as part of a sampling program I belong to, but I will be ordering more when mine runs out. I’ve had it for a few months now and even though I use it nearly everyday there’s still a lot left in the small sample jar that I received. This is one reason why I think the $16 they want for a 2oz jar isn’t that bad of a deal. If you’re looking for a more naturally made cream then give the Granite Falls Farms web site a look over, you just might find a nice cream that you will enjoy as much as I have my Sage & Citrus Hand Cream. Granite Falls Farm also makes bees wax lip balms and hand rolled comb candles in several scents. -

My brother bought me some Swanson's/ Dr Hendel's Ultra Himalayan Crystal Salt because he knows how bad I am with adding salt to just about every thing I eat and he wanted me to at least have a salt that was better for me. Nice brother I have ay. Any how the first thing you notice about this salt is that it’s pink, not white like regular table salt, or even sea salt. Himalayan Ultra Crystal Salt is 100% pure and natural it’s not refined like regular table salt is and it’s more pure and wholesome than sea salt, or even rock salt. This salt is all hand mined to preserve its integrity and to provide pure elemental energy from the earth. When ancient seas evaporated and the Himalayan Mountains rose, ribbons of this pure crystal salt were stretched throughout the rock preserving its structure, mineral composition and purity to this day. Another Chick member was telling me how she won a few free bags of Kettle brand chips and how good she thought they were. I hadn’t ever heard of them and looked for them in stores where I live for sometime before I finally came across some. Although they show on their web site that they come in fifteen different flavours I was only able to find about four. The Sea Salt and Vinegar and the Honey Dijon flavours looked good so I bought those two. I was pretty surprised at how hard the chips were compare to any other chips I’ve tried and at first this put me off. How ever after I started to eat more that all went away because they really are very good. The texture grows on you and you find yourself reaching for more. I really enjoy the Honey Dijon witch really surprised me because it wasn’t a flavour I associated with potato chips. After eat half the bag I realised that they did remind me of the potato strip dip that I make. The Sea Salt and Vinegar were alright, but they were a bit to vinegary for me. Over all I’d definitely give them a thumbs up and tell you to at least give them a try. You might surprise yourself like I did. -

The Olay Pro X Clear Intensive Refining Sulfur mask was created for adult skin that is still affected by acne. It can be used twice a week, but if over drying does happen to occur, your best to only use it once a week until your skin gets use to it. I’ve never had this problem happen to me since I started using it, but some people have more sensitive skin then I do. It doesn’t have a strong smell to it at all like other sulfur containing masks can have. It goes on creamy and dries pretty fast. After it’s dried you leave it on for ten minutes then just rinse off with warm water. I really love how easily it comes off. I’ve never had to rewash my face with a cleanser, or go over it with a toner to be sure I’ve removed all of this mask, like I have had to do with some other masks I’ve tried. Once you have completely rinsed your face off just pat it dry and you’re good to go. My skin always looks and feels so much better after using this mask. It leaves your face soft and healthy looking, not dry and tight. You feel like your doing the right thing for you skin after you’ve used the Olay Pro X Clear Intensive Refining Sulfur Mask and best of all, it really does help to dry out any acne you might have. It makes your skin feel so nice that you actually look forward to your next mask day. Just before Christmas I received an unwanted early Christmas present in the forum of a cold sore, YUCK! I haven’t had a cold sore in years and couldn’t believe it was happening to me at this time of year. I happened to have a coupon for $4 off of Abreva, so even though I don’t like spending this much money on something I’ve never tried before, I bought some. The tube is only 2 grams in size, but you use such a small amount that this should last you a long time even if you do get cold sores often. Abreva contains 10% docosanol that helps to protect the surrounding healthy cells from the cold sore infection. Its FDA approved to shorten the healing time and the duration of your symptoms such as tingling, pain, burning and itching. I noticed a difference in the feel of my cold sore right away. All of the awful symptoms I just mentioned seemed to stop and I felt much more comfortable. The next day I could tell just by looking at it that it was starting to heal and not get any bigger. With in a few short days it was well on its way to being gone for good! Even though Abreva does cost more then I normally like to pay for products like this, I was definitely happy that I did this time. If you get cold sores often or one just happens to surprise you one day, then I’d definitely recommend you pick up some Abreva at the first little tingle you feel. I received one Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch to try out awhile ago, but never had a blister to try it on until last week. They are supposed to be ideal for blisters on your heels and that’s right where I had mine. They claim that the Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch relieves pain, seals the affected area safely against dirt and bacteria and helps to heel your blister faster. The patch is a fare size, but when I opened it to apply it to my ankle I was surprise to find that the sticky part of this patch covers the whole patch. This means you have to apply the sticky part right on top of your blister along with the surrounding area. They say it has extra strong adhesion that helps to keep it in place for days, but because of the way this patch is made it also sticks right to the blister. So when you do take the patch off your skin that has been razed because it was full of water peels off right along with the patch!! Not what you want to happen at all. As far as I’m concerned this makes your situation worse not better. The Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch did stay on my ankle for a few days, but when I went to remove it my skin came off along with the patch just as I thought would happen. I wouldn’t recommend you try the Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch on any blister unless you like more pain then you started with. -
