Just a few days left before Father's Day, and kids of all ages are scrambling to find The Perfect Gift for Dear Ol' Dad. We're coming to the rescue with a few last-minute ideas of our own paired with cocktail suggestions for Dad and his #1 girl (he's not much of an appletini guy, in case you forgot).

The Townie
Event tickets & Manhattan cocktail

The best gift you can give Dad is a gift of your time. Take him out for an evening river cruise, to a play, or cocktails on the town.

Recipe ingredients: Bourbon, sweet vermouth, maraschino cherry, maraschino cherry juice
(recipe via Maker's Mark)

The Movie Buff
The Godfather Trilogy Blu-ray (C$30.99 / US$41.99) & Godfather cocktail

Recipe ingredients: Amaretto, Scotch whiskey, ice
(recipe via Disaronno)

The Chillax-er
Blackberry-Bourbon Iced Tea recipeBlackberry-Bourbon Iced Tea & Standing Hammock (C$130US$130)

Recipe ingredients: Blackberries, tea bags, fresh mint, Bourbon, sugar, ice
(recipe via FoodNetwork)

'YOLO' Dad
Boilermaker & Guitar Cast Iron Skillet (C$20US$18.95)

The Guy Whose Witty Jokes Only Make Sense To Himself
Das Boot Beer Glass (US$14.95) & Das Boot Director's Cut Blu-ray (C$18.49US$11.99)

It's a Wolfgang Petersen thing, and yes--your Dad will immediately understand the reference even if no one else does. Make sure you pick up a few bottles of your local microbrewery's finest to serve in his new glass.

And if it turns out that your Dad is a Bud Light kind of guy, well, you still have options:

Drinking Hard Hat (US$11.88) and Camo Beer Can Holster Belt (C$16.95 / US$7.89)

The skillet is by Lodge and I have seen other cute designs by them over the years! I recently saw some at Cracker Barrel (a US restaurant/store chain). That's where my kids will be buying their Dad's gift this year!

My husband would love that Camo beer can holder. Although your not supposed to be drinking and hunting at the same time. It's a good way to shoot your own foot off.
