New Product Review Club Offer: CeraVe® Facial Moisturizing Lotions

Skin care is always a bit of a battle for me. I try to keep up with a regimen of regular exfoliation, using toner (when I remember) and always - always - wearing a daily moisturizer with SPF. Two of my New Year's Resolutions are to drink more water and cut back on sugar, both for general health and to stay ahead of the curve with my combination skin.

And this is kind of working. Blemishes and patchy dry skin thanks to our Canadian winters are mostly under control, but I'm also struggling with blackheads and uneven skin tone in general. Good enough, I usually tell myself. As a working mom, I'm always on the clock-- job, sports teams, music lessons, grocery run... rinse 'n repeat. Wouldn't it be nice if I could do better than just "good enough"?

Recently I headed into my local drugstore for moisturizer, fully intending to buy the product that would score me the most points on my store loyalty card. The ever-watchful clerk zeroed in on me with my hands full of random products and steered me toward CeraVe®. I'm already a huge fan of CeraVe® body creams but was unfamiliar with their facial products.

Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe® AM and PM Facial Moisturizing Lotions are ideal for normal to oily and combination skin types. The secret to CeraVe's® effectiveness is the inclusion of three skin-identical essential Ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids combined with a patented slow-release MultiVesicular Emulsion (MVE®) technology to hydrate the skin for 24 hours with skin-nourishing and protective ingredients like Niacinimide to reduce redness due to dry skin, Hyaluronic acid for hydration, and Zinc Oxide (in the AM product) to provide physical sun protection while reducing the appearance of oil. This "barrier building" formulation is designed to renew the skin's natural moisture barrier which in turn can help reduce the severity of or prevent dry skin and flare-ups associated with underlying skin conditions.

And by the way, it's also fragrance-free, non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), and can safely be used alone or together with acne, rosacea, or eczema treatments just in case you were wondering.

I'm excited to see if CeraVe® will be a good fit for my skin. Early results are looking promising! Want to give it a try with me? ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club is looking for 200 Canadian members to try CeraVe® AM and PM Facial Moisturizing Lotions for themselves. Who's in?

I love trying new skincare products. I have oily / acneic skin so I often try out new cleansers, toners and moisturizers, this would be great!

As I've aged my skin has gone into a tail spin and I'd love to find something that can balance me out. I also have problem skin and just can find a good balance any longer. After washing my face not only looks dry it has even begun to crack an peel in places. How ever after I apply my moisturizer with in a few hours my good old oily skin shows back up with guns a blazing. I've even tried only washing once a day and I still haven't had any luck, all this does is make me brake out. Trust me ladies being in your forties sucks!! Good luck to all of you that apply, I can't wait to read the reviews!
