Should I Wear This: Visor Sunglasses

Posted by Jennifer Kim | Monday June 27, 201132 comments
I was online shopping on Asos, and on an impulse I bought these Spitfire Omega Point Wrap Visor Sunglasses. I had seen similar on a TV show that I like, and when I saw them online, I thought I didn't think twice and bought them. Once I got them, I went through the common dilemma of deciding which outfit to wear with them. They're not very feminine, and look very futuristic, so I thought I couldn't just pair them with anything.
These sunglasses are different from others I've bought in the past, which were basically all aviators.

So, I decided to try it out with an all black outfit—what do you think? Can I introduce colour, or will that look odd with such sporty frames?

I also tried them with different lip colours: The left is with the Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick in Grenadine, while the right side is with the Revlon Colour Burst Lipstick in Candy Pink. Which do you like better?

Please help a fellow Chick out! What can I wear with these visors?

Oh, and your advice could win you a prize! We'll randomly choose from those who help me out and give away a prize (see what we're giving away this week). I can't wait to hear your advice on what to wear them with!

A winner will be drawn from all eligible entries and announced Wednesday, July 6.

Thank you everyone, for the great comments!!!

I definitely went out a few nights ago, with the Guerlain lipstick and the shades, since I've noticed many of you guys preferred that look!

Great glasses! I'm going to go out on a limb and siggest maybe a cute summery dress. I'm not sure if it would work, but it might be fun to try. The look might need boots to tie in the glasses.

I like the idea of a streamlined back outfit and a simple ponytail. Let the sunglasses standout on their own!

I like it with the black outfit and the grenadine lipstick.

As soon as I saw those sunglasses I thought something in black leather would look great with them. I like the the Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick as it seems to match the look. The other lipstick softens the look and is maybe a bit too feminine for the sunglasses. I think you could accessorize with a punch of color-ie. a yellow leather bag?

i personaly love how the Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick looks on you and gives the look of the glasses a totaly different prospective, like a femanine yet classy motorcycle look i love it

I love these sunglasses on you! I think they would look best with your hair pulled back, with your bangs still on your face. The glasses are a statement piece on their own, so neutral lip, no earrings. An all black outfit would suit these sunglasses best - be it black jeans, leather jacket, black romper, whatever!

You make the glasses work as it is :)

When I see shades like these, I think "Victoria secret". Have you ever noticed their adds for sun glasses? The girls make those extra ordinary shades seem so easy to wear when they are wearing anything from a simple dress to a bikini on the beach.

With sweet shades like that, I think a simple look like jeans and a T, or a bold colored dress with some bright lips is the way to go. Love the bright lips too.

This is a statement piece so let it be the focus and keep everything else simple and feminine. You could wear your hair in a cute ballerina bun.
