When summer rolls around for those few months of the year, I tend to get a little lazy with my beauty routine. Maybe it's the heat that zaps my will to leave my bed in the morning, maybe it's that in the summer I don't have much spare time to get ready in the morning, maybe it's a combination of both that leaves me short on time and energy. But in the summer heat I like a good product that has some double duty action to make my day a tiny bit easier.



1. I use CoverGirl TruBlend Finishing Veil every morning to set my makeup in the morning and it usually stays put all day, even in the heat when I tend to sweat my makeup off. 
 
2. Essie Nail Polish in Turquoise and Caicos reminds me of the ocean and there’s nothing I love more than the beach in summer. 

3. As the Official Chair of the Fair Skin Club I am an advocate of sunscreen. Clean and Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer not only leaves my skin super soft, but has some extra SPF for the summer sun. This way I don't need that extra step of applying sunscreen. 

4. St. Ives Renewing Collagen Elastin Lotion is my go to lotion every morning to ensure my legs are soft and supple when donning short summer skirts and shorts. No one wants alligator legs! The massive bottle lasts all summer long (or longer).

5. The pretty pink of NARS The Multiple in Orgasm has a little shimmer, and it’s such a flattering shade for subtle summer colour (since I am clearly so diligent with my sunscreen to ever get a tan).  And since I'm always on the go in the summer, it's an easy product to toss in my bag and retouch my eyes, lips or cheeks throughout the day.
