Yay or Nay: Rihanna's Silk Suit

Rihanna is no stranger to the Yay or Nay hot seat. We've debated not only on her hair but also on a silk Pucci PJ inspired outfit. Now, I thought we had solved these issues, Ms. Rihanna but apparently, you just don't listen to us!

Rihanna recently pulled a Miley Cyrus and chopped off her long locks and while I can get on board with the Liza Minelli-esque haircut, I'm not sure sure I can say the same for the printed silk loungewear ensemble. She recently wore this suit from 'Acne' to the opening of the 40/40 Club in New York City.

First of all, what exactly is this pattern? I spent a few minutes trying to figure it out, but I couldn't, so I gave up. I think it's some sort of money / bill pattern perhaps? In any case, I like the cream but am not so much sold on the tan/camel colour. And the shoes are nothing special. The jewellery is nice, but again, the colour is so blah. Where are the sapphires, emeralds and purples, Riri?

It's a shapeless outfit and doesn't suit her usual style or her skintone. Had she split up the outfit and done either, I could see this working. But all together, it's lackluster and doesn't do her any favours. I think we can do better here, Rihanna. I expect an improvement next time around, ok?

What do you think of this outfit and her new haircut? Is it a yay or a nay? Leave a comment below by October 14th and you could win!
