This cream is made for your ladies but you can actually use it on any part of your body that needs a bit of toning or firming. I used this cream as I was losing/gaining weight to keep my girls firm and to avoid stretch marks. I also used it on my hips and thighs and I definitely noticed that it helped. It isn't a miracle worker, but it does give a bit more firmness and moisture to keep these areas from getting saggy or stretch marks. The smell is strong, very floral and can be off putting for some. It stays with you for a while too. I enjoyed it but I can see how others might not so definitely try and get a sample from Lush before you buy since it is a bit pricey. -

I had the opportunity to attend Le Dolci for one of their amazing workshops! They invited me to try out their workshop on how to make the perfect French macaron and not only was it very fun, but at the end I got to bring home a dozen macarons and they were so delicious! I loved how informative this class was too. If you're into baking, and you want to learn techniques, this class is for you but if you are a novice and just looking for something light, not too intensive, I would recommend a cupcake decorating class or something similar. The instructors know what they are doing and are very helpful. You can feel free to ask them questions or for advice. The one thing I wasn't a huge fan of was that you won't get a ton of hands on experience just because you're in a group of about 8-10 other people. This makes it easier because you get to learn from others and it keeps the prep time down to a minimum but you won't get a lot of mixing time. It's a bit pricey, I think around $80 a person but this would make a great gift! -

This is such a fabulous idea for a cafe! I actually first heard about The Red Bench on CA and immediately, I knew I had to go. They serve freshly baked, delicious and warm cookies and you customize them to your liking by choosing your fave dough and 2 toppings. It doesn't take much time and the cafe is inviting and relaxing so you don't mind spending time there. I was surprised to see that when we walked in it was totally empty but I don't think they'll stay like that for long, it's too good of a cafe to be kept a secret! In the summer, they have fro yo as well. For drinks, they serve tea or milk or tea lattes. It's such a lovely way to spend an evening with a friend! -

I just went here last night for my first cut in about 5 years! I was terrified haha. Thankfully though, Aveda does it's best to calm you down by offering beverages and giving you a pre-cut massage. The cuts are cheap, mine was about $40 and that includes styling and a wash. Aveda is all students, but don't let that scare you off. I would recommend that you know what you want going in though. Have a clear picture and description of what you want. They'll offer advice though and let you know if something won't work, which I appreciate. It's always busy and kind of loud but the salon is well kept, clean and everyone is very friendly. I love my cut and I think I will definitely be going back. I would totally recommend this salon to a friend. -

I feel like this product could be really good but there are some major design flaws that make it totally un-user friendly. The cleanser itself is decent. It contains salicylic acid, which is good for oily skin which is why I bought it in the first place. It also contains Himalayan salt and I'm not totally convinced this does anything but any cleanser with salicylic acid is going to work to reduce oil and help clear break outs. I didn't notice a HUGE difference but I would use this during break outs to help clear them up.
The thing about this product is: the packaging. It has a hard plastic-y brush head and you are supposed to turn the cleanser over and the product will come out and you brush it on to exfoliate. I thought the exfoliating would help with break outs. The brush is hard to use and the cleanser amount is hard to control. Its bulky and uncomfortable and you don't really get a good scrub. After a few tries, I just gave up and used the cleanser but the cleanser is also super hard to get out of the package. All in all, tons of design flaws make this product not worthy.

I have a unhealthy addiction to garden cocktail, but I guess since it's garden cocktail, it's pretty healthy.... So I don't really feel guilty. Mott's makes great portable 6 packs that are perfect for when I am on the go. I bought the cans, but they also make plastic bottles. I have tried the low sodium and the regular and though I will say that the regular are tastier (I love, love, love salty), the low sodium is pretty good too.
It's a bit pricey, especially when you consider the amount you're getting, the large containers are going to be less expensive but then you don't get the convenience. Also, I LOVE this product for a bloody mary! :)

I was immediately drawn to this foundation because it is a gel foundation that contains a serum with vitamin and antioxidant enriched fruits which supposedly help to reduce signs of fatigue. It also promises to keep up for 16 hours! At about $30, it's pricier than other drugstore brands but less than a high end Sephora product. You're supposed to see a more radiant complexion in 4 weeks of using this product and it hasn't been that long, but I can speak to other qualities in this product. It is quite moisturizing, not heavy and lets your skin breathe. It is pretty decent coverage too. I found that it really glides on smoothly. Its very easy to apply and isn't patchy or streaky. -

These razors are interchangeability which is great because I love trying new heads but I hate buying a whole new razor and having all these handles pile up. I am really fond of two razors in particular: the Sugarberry and the Venus Olay. They both give very close shaves and they both have two thick moisturizing strips that soothe skin. Sugarberry is pink and scented too which is amazing! My one complaint is that the moisturizing strips don't last as long as I would like and I found that the blades did get dull sooner than other razors I have but for the quality of the shave I get, it is worth it. -

Boutique Monique Vintage is a cute vintage shop in the forest hill area. I actually live about 10 minutes away from it so it's a very convenient walk for me! It looks small from the outside but its surprisingly big on the inside, so don't be fooled! There is a ton of merchandise in the store. Monique (the owner), has divided the store into rooms, one fully stocked with shoes! There are huge dressing rooms and a gorgeous salon in the back complete with a fireplace. It's a wonderful, homey atmosphere that makes shopping a very pleasant experience. You can tell that Monique has great taste, the stock reflects this. She's chosen great pieces from a few different decades. The prices aren't bad either, a little on the pricier side but good vintage always is. I will definitely be going back and I'll be browsing here often! -

This small and unassuming boutique houses some amazing merchandise! I attended an event here and I took a sneak peek at some of the clothing and accessories and they have some really unique and special, visually interesting items. They exclusively carry some hard to find brands, vintage pieces and they also do a lot of in house design and DIY revamped items. The prices are fairly reasonable. More expensive than H&M;, maybe around Zara pricing, but everything is usually under $100 - $150. I met the owner of the store, Cameron and he was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Everyone who works there is super welcoming, don't be scared by how gorgeous and stylish they look. It's a very new store too, they've only been around since the summer I think. I will definitely make a trip back! -
