I use this on myself for dry patches and on especially rough areas (elbows, knees), I may also use a bit on my legs to help prevent ingrown hairs, razor burn and little bumps. It's super moisturizing and emollient. It actually works wonders on acne as well. The zinc oxide just seems to really diminish the appearance and size. What I love about this cream is that it isn't like a benzoyl peroxide that dries out everything, the zinc oxide dries out the pimple but not the surrounding skin. You could totally even use it as a mask at night. It does tend to tingle and burn slightly at first but that goes away. It isn't like a regular cream so it doesn't absorb like a normal moisturizer but it kind of just lays on top. -

This foundation has a few pluses: I really liked how blendable and velvety this stick is. It comes in 12 shades so there's definitely a large variety. The price is pretty great too. It's hard to find a decent foundation for around $10, even at the drugstore.
This foundation is supposed to be a matte finish, but I would say it's more semi-matte. The coverage is quite light as well. I usually look for heavier coverage and pigmentation so this wasn't exactly for me but I can see that some people would like it. Throughout the day, I did notice I got a bit oily, I think this one needs to be paired with a powder for sure. It did control oil a bit, but I don't think it did as much as I thought. Overall, decent quality but since I like more coverage, I don't know if I would go for it again.

This was my first time trying a cleansing oil, I've always been too scared to use one because of the whole 'oil' on acne prone skin thing but after reading tons of oil cleansing and the benefits I decided to give it a go. This is one of the first oil cleansers to be released from The Body Shop. I actually surprised myself at how much I liked this. It felt great on my skin and I really felt like it hydrated my face. However, it isn't the best makeup remover. You're going to need to use makeup removing wipes or another makeup remover before using this. It wouldn't be your primary method of removing makeup so you might want to only use this in the morning. It would feel great before your makeup to moistutize. For those who like their night routine to be quick n easy, this wouldn't be the best option. It smells quite nicely, it's light and floraly, not overwhelming. It's not a regular moisturizer either so I think it takes some getting used to. For those who like the feeling of a foaming cleanser, they may not love this one. -

I've used a few different types of sheet masks, however this is one (if not the first) North American company that I know of that has released a sheet mask so I was really excited to test them out. These sheet masks are quite comparable to the Asian ones I have tried however the price point is a major point for me. Most sheet masks are about a dollar each, these are just over $2 each. As far as quality goes, I found that they were very moisturizing and feel great on your skin. They are really soaked in the serum, the box even says that each mask has half a bottle of serum in it! One issue I have with Asian ones is that they tend to be a weird fit for my face since I have more European features. These fit my face quite well. I left the mask on for about 10-15 minutes and then took it off. It was still very wet though and not dry at all. My skin was instantly hydrated. Besides the instant moisture, I am not sure how long the masks moisturize your skin. It didn't seem too long lasting or to really penetrate my skin. I do think that they give your skin a bit of a boost and I would use these before a night out to give my skin a bit of moisture and glow.
For the price and the amount you get, I'm not sure if I would purchase these again but they are a good product, I am loyal to my regular sheet mask brand.

I think I bought this for about $3.00 so for that great price, this is an awesome buy. The pen is very user friendly and the felt tip makes it easy to apply and to do cat eyes or winged liner. It glides on quite smoothly as well. It is pretty long lasting as well. I don't know if I would say 24 hr but it does hold up pretty well throughout the day. It definitely is waterproof, I found it really difficult to take off at the end of the day. However, I found it did rub off pretty easily. If I put my face on my arm or my hand, there was always a black smudge. The one thing that I really didn't like was the liner formula. You can't go over a line or it will just completely rub off. The pigmentation always runs out pretty easily and you have to wait for it to get darker, but by the time you've waited the liner is dry and when you go over, it peels itself off. It's pretty irritating. I think I will use up the pen, and I think for $3, it is a decent buy, a good back up to have in your emergency makeup kit, but I don't think I would use this again as my primary liner. -

This balm is made for diaper rash, but I've actually been using it for a whole slew of skin ailments on myself. Any sort of rash, chafing or chapping I might have, I just put a bit of this on and it heals it right up. It's super emollient and moisturizing. I also like this on the rougher areas of my body like my elbows and knees. During the summer months, when my thighs rub together (we've all been there, right???), I use a bit of this on the area to soothe. My boyfriend works in a kitchen and gets chafing because of the heat (essentially diaper rash) and I gave him some of this to put on and it cleared it right up. I like that this is natural and organic. I received this product free to review. -

I received this moisturiser as a klout perk and initially, I wasn't too impressed with the idea of the moisturiser, I usually shy away from gels and opt for heavier creams but I have been using this for a few weeks and I'm actually really enjoying it. I've been finding that it is still very hydrating even though it's not heavy. It's really nice and lightweight underneath makeup. It's quite refreshing as well. Since my skin becomes quite oily in the summer, this has been a nice balance since it is oil free and pretty breathable. It's gentle and I like that it is water based. I received this for free but I think I would purchase it again since it's a pretty good price at C$7.99-9.49. -

This CC cream was just not for me. It was too pricey at almost $20 and offered very little coverage. It was simply too sheer and liquidy for me. I liked that it has an spf 20 and that it is quite mpisturizing, but other than that, it offered no benefits. It was almost like using a thin sunscreen with the smallest tint of colour. Because it is so liquidy, I found that my skin was pretty shiny afterwards and I definitely couldn't wear it alone as a tinted moisturizer. The cc cream is infused with vitamin c and calcium, supposedly to fight signs of maturing skin, so for someone older maybe who is looking for some hydration and an spf for everyday wear, this might work. -

I received this concealer pen from Sephora for free, to review. I was definitely excited to give it a go since this is Marc Jacob's first beauty collection and it's an exclusive to Sephora. At $47, it's not a cheap concealer. I found that this concealer was very pink and actually worked better as a highlighter/concealer hybrid like YSL's touche eclat. It's a similar packaging style too. It's a pen with a clicking button on the end that dispenses the concealer. I actually wasn't a huge fan of this style. It usually dispensed too much or not enough and though the metal tip feels very cool on the under eye, it isn't very helpful for blending. I usually used a small brush or my fingers with it. The formula is nice, it blends and finishes nicely but it't the best colour or coverage. It really brightens but it isn't the best bet for blemish covering. It creases slightly underneath the eye area as well. Overall, I don't think I would purchase this one. It's not a bad product or concealer, but for the price I think there are other options. -

I've been using this lotion for around 2 months now and I'm almost done my bottle and I am really debating about buying another one. It's a pretty small bottle of lotion, around 30ml but you really only need a thin layer so it will last you a while. I found that the lotion is quite effective for calming down your acne prone skin and reducing red marks and inflammation. However, it does take some time to work. It's active ingredients are 5% sodium ascorbyl phosphate and 2% niacinamide. I find the niacinamide very effective in particular for my skin. I use this twice a day usually. It takes some time to absorb into the skin so if you are in a rush in the morning, I might skip it. It isn't drying at all, but my skin requires a little more moisture, so I will usually use this with a heavier night cream when I go to bed and a maybe a gel, lightweight moisturizer in the morning. The one downside is the price: $30.00. I am really liking this, so I might bite the bullet and go for it again but $30 for such a small amount always seems like so little. I might wait a while and see how my skin looks without it and then go back too. -
