I purchased this foundation in the US not too long a go but I haven't seen it in Canada so I don't think it's available in stores though you could probably find it online. I have acne prone skin so I liked the idea of an oil, shine reducing foundation with salicylic acid to help clear my skin. I've been using it for a little while and I do notice a bit of difference in my skin. Pimples clear up faster though I don't notice a huge difference in the amount. I think for the most part, the % of salicylic acid is too low to show a drastic improvement but used regularly with other products, I think it's definitely a good part of a skincare/beauty system.
As far as the actual foundation formula goes, I like the coverage and it has decent lasting power. My one complaint is that it isn't moisturizing enough. It doesn't glide on smoothly like other foundations and it's a bit too thick and heavy. I've been finding that lighter foundations like UD Naked usually look better once the makeup oxidizes and this one tends to settle and look a bit cakey. I think it would do better for very oily skin and in the winter not in this humid summer weather. I would like better colour selection too.

When I first tried this concealer, I was unconvinced. It's a very creamy, moisturizing formula and I was used to thicker, heavier ones. I didn't think it would give any coverage or have any staying power. I have to admit, after using up the entire stick, I was wrong. This is a great concealer for those with drier skin. It's very hydrating and because it is so creamy, it glides on smoothly. It's great for those with dry patches. That being said, for those with especially oily skin, I don't know if this would be my first choice, because it is a lot wetter (if that makes sense) it tends to slip a bit. You'll definitely need to set it with a powder. I find underneath my eye area, it tends to settle into lines as well. It did give great coverage though, without looking cakey which is key for me. The packaging is cute and practical. The only down side is the price. At $30, I am not sure if I will repurchase it. It's not that I don't think it is worth it but I do think that there are similar options for a bit less. -

I received this body wash at a Vitabath event and was looking forward to trying it out because though I have seen Vitabath products forever, I've never tried any of them! A bonus was that this particular body wash is part of a new collection from Vitabath called Fruit Fanatic. They also have new spa inspired, floral and cupcake collections. The body washes are about $8 each.
My favourite thing about this body wash is that its paraben and sulfate free. You definitely only need a bit as well so it lasts a good while. The scent is nice, not too overpowering. The grapefruit and vanilla wouldn't be my first choice so I think I'd try something different next time but I would totally buy this again. My skin is quite sensitive and my chest especially reacts in break outs when it doesn't like a body wash but so far, this has been great for me. It contains vitamins and antioxidant fruit extracts for nourishing your skin which is great, I wish it were a bit more moisturizing though. t's not the cheapest body wash in the drugstore but for all the benefits, I think I would definitely go to this again.

I bought this lip balm in the colour #textme which is a pretty raspberry red. I was looking for a new lightly pigmented, coloured balm, similar to the Maybelline Baby Lips. I was looking for something a little more moisturizing though. I thought this balm seemed like a fun product and I really liked the colour options (more variety than Maybelline). The product is very similar to the Maybelline. The packaging is cute, somewhat young though. At around $6, it is a pricey option for a coloured balm and like the Maybelline, the hydration leaves some to be desired. I do like having this on the go though (great for those who like lighter products in summer) for when I like some colour but don't want something very matte. I like the product and I like the amount of pigmentation, its a very subtle pretty tint but for $6, I'm not sure that it's quite worth it. Also, a silly complaint but I feel like the size is a bit awkward. It's good, but not a great product. -

I purchased this product about a month or two a go and it's become my favourite go-to product for acne treating. It contains 1% salicylic acid as well as retinol and glycolic acid. I find that the glycolic acid and the salicylic acid work fast, overnight to reduce redness and inflammation and reduce blemish size. At the same time though, it isn't over drying at all. I find that scarring time is reduced significantly as are dark spots.
It isn't cheap though, for a 3.4 oz bottle it is $54. I have the 2 oz for $32 and though it dispenses in small amounts, it does get used up pretty fast. I am around halfway through my current bottle.
I think I will be repurchasing this.

I bought this brush as part of the Real Techniques Your Base/Flawless Core Collecion By Samantha Chapman set. It's definitely my favourite, stand out brush in the set. It's a bargain at just under $20 for the 4 brushes.
Previously, I was using a stippling brush for my foundation but I found the coverage spotty and uneven. This brush gives a far more flawless, even coverage effect. The foundation glides on smoothly and blends so nicely. I love that the brush is pretty densely packed and has a good thickness to it. I used to have to go over my foundation with a sponge afterwards to blend it but with this brush there is no need! I would recommend this brush and will be repurchasing when/if I need to.

I would recommend this liner for lining your waterline because it is waterproof and it really does have great staying power. I did find myself having to reapply to get more colour and pigment but compared to other liners, it does last a very long time, especially on the waterline where liner tends to migrate and move. Otherwise, the formula is quite smooth, not chalky and glides on so its easy to apply.
The colour itself is gorgeous but bold and it isn't for everyone. I usually only wear it once in a while and it isn't really a day time look. I would recommend this liner for the formula, though the colour isn't my favourite. I think I would buy this again in a brown or black.
I received this liner free from Stila to review.

I received a sample of this product to review for Maybellline and I have to say, I was surprised with the huge impact that it gave. From your small little lashes to major wow! Its a great formula. This mascara is unique in that it has a duo ended wand. It has a large brush for your upper lashes and a smaller brush to grab all your lower lashes. The result is an all around, big, doll eyed effect.
I love the idea of getting 2 for 1 and the formula is effective, so for $12 I would consider this a great addition to your makeup bag.

Bier Markt is definitely the place to go if you are a beer lover or love to try and experiment with new beer flavours. They have a huge variety of beer and a great selection of beers from all over the world. If you want to test out something new, feel free to ask your server about the beers and what they'd recommend for you.
The food is good but pricey and I don't know if it's quite worth it. It's tasty but not amazingly incredible. I would recommend skipping food and just going for drinks instead. The service is good, friendly and they are knowledgeable about beers.
The patio is great and they even have live music sometimes. They're pretty big bars too which is nice when you aren't in the mood for a crowded, hot room.

I don't know if it's me (that I didn't use this product right) or if its the actual product, but I just can't behind this one. Since cutting my hair, I've been looking for products to tame frizz and flyaways and to lengthen my curls. I hate when they are too tight and ringlets. This is similar to Aveda be curly ™ curl controller however this one is half the price so I was excited to try it out and hoping to really like it.
Everytime I've used this one it either doesn't do anything and I have the same hug big tight curls as before or it weighs down and flattens my curls completely. I've found that it does tame some frizziness though. It may just be my hair type or maybe I'm just not using it right, but this doesn't seem to agree with my hair.
I received this product for free to review.
