As the title states -- this is the best under eye concealer I've ever used. This concealer is the most watery, liquidy I've ever seen but is extremely pigmented. A few dabs goes a long way. It completely conceals my chronic purple under eyes. And because a pinpoint amount covers a large area, it has great value even though it's a higher priced item. It comes in a tube which can get messy, but nice that there's no applicator that could spread bacteria. Overall I'm super happy with this product. I love that it feels lightweight, doesn't get cakey, doesn't crease, stays all day, and completely covers. I'll definitely be purchasing again. -

I was lucky to have been selected by Chickadvisor to try out this product for free. I have very oily, acne-prone skin. First of all, I find the individually wrapped wipes to be very convenient. Especially in our pandemic mask-wearing age, it's handy to have these thrown in my bag for when I need an emergency face wipe when out of the home. I also like that having them individually wrapped means that there's no potential for the entire pack to dry out. As for the wipes themselves, I wasn't a fan. I think there's some ingredient that didn't agree with my skin. After using it, my face felt like it was chapped. It felt tight, but also shiny at the same time. That being said, it was extremely efficient at removing all my makeup. With the second wipe I received, I finished with micellar water to remove any potential residue from the wipes, and the cotton pad I used was completely clean. I was impressed by how well it removed all of my makeup, including mascara. I'd probably purchase these in the future for travel, but not for at-home use. -

I was lucky enough to have been selected by Chickadvisor to try out this sunscreen for free. To preface my review, I have very oily, acne-prone skin. Every facial sunscreen I've ever used has left a streaky white residue on my face and made it super shiny and sticky. And when I try to get rid of the streaks the product just pills off my face. I was pleasantly surprised that I really, really loved this sunscreen! It has a fine mist which is a necessity for a facial spray product. It doesn't leave a weird white residue that I have to try to get rid of. It absorbs really fast and doesn't make my skin look incredibly shiny. It also feels lightweight compared to the sunscreens I've used in the past. The only worry I have is that I don't know what type of coverage it's providing to my face. Because it's a spray and not a thicker lotion, I don't know what parts of my face it may be missing, whether I need to apply more, etc. But that just my worry and not an issue with the product itself. Overall, I'm very glad I was offered the opportunity to test this out because I've discovered my new facial sunscreen. I will definitely be switching to this in the future. -

Basically what the headline says. This is honestly the worst deodorant I've ever used. It smells exactly like turkish delight, which is a good thing to me! It smells so good. The scent lasts for a decent amount of time. What I dislike most about it is the texture. It's incredibly rough. It feels like it's exfoliating my underarm. And when you swipe it, it begins to crumble apart. It is not creamy and leaves big chunks on you. I would never purchase this again as every other type of anti persperant/deodorant is way better than this. Not worth the money at all! -

This is by far the stickiest lip gloss I've ever used. The fact that they have on the package that it's 'non-sticky' is laughable! I do love that it's in a squeezable tube and that you get so much product. But it's so thick, so sticky, and needs to be constantly applied and doesn't have much staying power. The shades are really nice though and it has a great sheen when applied. -

I found these blotting sheets in a 2 x 100 pack on clearance at Shoppers for $1. What a great bargain! There is definitely a difference in quality when comparing these to my previous Boschia and Clean & Clear purchases. The Joe Fresh ones are smaller and white. I feel like pricier brands come in coloured sheets so you can see the oil being absorbed. It's harder to tell with white, but it eliminates my shine and I can see that it has worked. I don't need to pay more to see it on the sheet because I notice the difference on my face. Overall, great purchase and I'd recommend! -

I was selected by Chickadvisor to test out this product for free.
As I'm getting older, I'm trying to be good and use a daily SPF and finding one has been hard. Pretty much every SPF breaks me out and this one is no different. I tested it on my chin just to try it out before doing my whole face and it immediately burned. The next day I had little bumps clearly from irritation. I didn't apply it the second day and the bumps quickly went away. I tried it on and off a few more times but the irritation bumps kept occurring, so having a final verdict is clouded by the fact it doesn't agree with my skin.
It left a film on my face. I'm lily white and it still left a whiteish cast that would pill off when I rubbed my face. It didn't absorb in the slightest and felt very heavy. It just made my skin feel very sticky and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this product because I think it's a hefty price tag for such a small bottle, and especially when playing around with something like SPFs that commonly break people out. It just isn't worth it.

This serum is milky with shimmer, which I think is the 'illuminating' part of the product description. I don't see the point of the shimmer because it just looks like glitter on my face -- like fallout from eyeshadow. I don't think it's necessary especially since I use serums at night. At first it felt heavy on my face. So each night I used less and less, and I believe less is key for those of us with oily skin. You have to have a light hand because this plus the gel cream can feel too heavy. After a week of using the entire regimen I have had smoother skin but I don't think it's due to the serum. I think the serum has evened out the appearance of my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I had quite a bit on my chin, jaw, and cheeks, and I've noticed the redness has been greatly reduced since starting this line. Overall, it's an okay product, but I likely wouldn't purchase because I can't tell what exactly this has done for my skin. I feel like there are more affordable serums on the market to target specific skin issues as opposed to this one.

I was very fortunate to have been selected by Chickadvisor to test out this product for free. I found that this isn't as light as the other gel creams I've tried. A little of this goes a long way, so even though it's only 50mL, it'll likely last a while. It contains shimmery flecks to help illuminate the skin. I didn't notice that at first. It was noticeable when in direct sunlight and I was confused as to how I got gold shimmer all over my face. It isn't super evident from afar, but you'll see each individual fleck if you get too close.
I'm happy that it didn't break me out, which is my biggest issue when trying out new moisturizers. I used this product morning and night, and after a week the existing texture on my skin that wouldn't go away has disappeared. I think it is effective, but I really dislike that it doesn't absorb into my skin. My skin is constantly tacky throughout the day and my face sometimes sticks to my pillow at night. I tried using less thinking I was applying too much but that had no difference. It's also not great under makeup. Either the moisturizer or my foundations pilled up and rolled off my face. This moisturizer is probably fine if you're not going anywhere, but not for days you want to leave the house. Because of that, I don't really think it's worth it. I likely wouldn't purchase once this is used up.

I was very fortunate to have been selected by Chickadvisor to test out this product for free. I typically exfoliate three times a week, so that's what I did with this product. When I first tried it out, it felt exactly like the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Exfoliant. I had received a free sample of that from Sephora and loved it, but couldn't stomach the ridiculous price tag. So I'm very happy that I had the chance to discover this product! I could literally buy 9 of these for the price of 1 Dr Brandt...I'll stick to Neutrogena!
The product itself has a very fine grit. Some exfoliants with a larger grit really irritate my skin and leave lingering redness. The Neutrogena Micro Polish is very gentle and would likely be a great exfoliant for those with sensitive skin. I don't think I noticed any 'brightening' effects per se, but I noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin. I was having big issues with texture around my chin and on my temples. After using this for a week, in combination with the other products in the Bright Boost line, my skin is so smooth to the touch. My regular exfoliant couldn't tackle it, but this one sure did!
Overall, I really love this product and will definitely purchase when it runs out. It doesn't irritate my skin, it didn't break me out, and it improved the texture of my skin. It's everything I could ever want out of a physical exfoliant. I did notice a bit of a fragrance when I first used it, but I've gotten used to it. The scent is mild so shouldn't be an issue unless your skin reacts to fragrance. I highly recommend!
