So, this is the first time I've actually used a face mask, since it is near impossible to find cruelty-free sheet masks in my area, and it's expensive to get them online. When I found these at my local grocery store, of all places, I jumped at the opportunity to grab a couple. Since my skin has felt particularly dry today, I figured it was a good time to try it out, and I am not exaggerating when I say I am AMAZED at how hydrated my face looks and feels! I kept it on for about 20 minutes, and as soon as I took it off, my skin instantly looked and felt deeply hydrated. Like it has a big, long drink of water, and as a result, I feel that it looks smoother and tighter! I recommend these 110%, and I will most definitely be buying more in the future! -

I bought this once before I realized that you can get MUCH more of the exact same product for sooo much cheaper through other brands. Don't get me wrong, I do like The Body Shop products; this is simply one that I personally feel is a rip-off, given the quantity in the vial, and the fact that it is just good 'ol tea tree oil that you can realistically get anywhere. There are plenty of products that I would consider buying or recommend from this company, but this is not one of them. Head to your local drug store and find yourself a bigger bottle for half the price; it all does the same thing, in the end! -

I gave this a try when a friend gave me the rest of her bottle. I should have listened when she said she didn't work, but since I didn't buy it myself, I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. You know how those nose strips don't work? Well, neither does this. You'll get plenty of dead skin coming away when you peel off the mask, but no blackheads. So save your money and invest in something more effective, like a good charcoal/clay mask! -

I tried out a sample of this that I received from Sephora, since I am always up for trying new hydrators. I used it in the morning with some Vitamin C serum, and was rather unpleasantly surprised by the sticky texture it left on my skin. My C serum also tends to be a little sticky, but typically a hydrator tones this down... Not so much, this time, it seems. Not sure if the sticky quality was to ensure the hydration did stick around for 24 hours, like it claims, but overall my face just didn't feel very clean that day. Probably wouldn't use it again, since there are so many other hydrators that work just as well, without feeling sticky. -

I received this as a sample from Sephora, because I was eager to try out some different eye creams. Right away, the iridescent shimmer in this formula threw me off a bit; I worried it would leave some weird glitter under my eyes, but it didn't, and it left my under-eye area feeling very cool and refreshed! I know the glimmer in it probably doesn't do anything, but I'm a sucker for aesthetic, and since this worked well regardless, I have to say it's nice to have 'pretty' skincare products! Not sure how it works in the long run, since I only have the sample size, but I would definitely recommend giving it a try for the cooling, soothing effect it has! -

I got this from Sephora as part of a sample set, and while some of the other products worked just fine, I can't get behind this. I've shied away from physical exfoliators for a reason, but since this was a sample, I decided to give it a try--and immediately remembered why I don't use these kinds of exfoliators anymore. It really irritated and inflamed whatever blemishes were on my face, and the next day, a few more blemishes developed. If you've got acne prone skin, harsh, physical exfoliants just aren't your friend. -

I received a sample of this from Sephora, and recently tried it while on vacation. There is nothing wrong with the moisturizer; it did hydrate my skin a good deal, but it didn't feel like anything different from what I've purchased at the drug store. Were it not for the hefty pricetag associated with the Clinique brand, I might say give it a try, but it just didn't do anything out of the ordinary for me. I have oily skin, and it didn't exactly mattify or blur out my pores, either, so it could be that this works for better skin types, but for me, it was kind of a flop. Wouldn't pay money for it. -

I received this as a sample in the mail, and took it with me while traveling so I didn't have to worry about packing anything clunky. I do tend to mix my serums with a hydrator in the morning for an extra boost of hydration, and this product was just perfect for that usage. It made my serums go a long way, and my face felt hydrated without getting sticky or oily in the summer heat. I also found that it layered quite well under moisturizer, and my face felt extremely hydrated all day long. If L'Oreal was cruelty-free, I would buy this up in a heartbeat! -

I received a sample of this from Sephora, so I took it with me while traveling so as not to drag around my other hefty moisturizer bottles. To be honest, the product was fine for what it was, but for a water-based moisturizer, I have to say I did find it slightly more sticky and occlusive than other moisturizers. I used it in the morning, and it did leave my skin hydrated, but also fairly sticky, and when I rubbed my face it felt as though the product was pilling. It does say that it is best suited for dry skin, and mine happens to be oily, so those with dry skin might find this more effective and less annoying than I did! -

I've tried other vitamin C serums, and I find that they do tend to be a little on the sticky side, but I do enjoy their effectiveness. I received a sample of this from Sephora, and used it when I went traveling so that I didn't have to lug around my bit Drunk Elephant vitamin C serum. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and easily the truth serum absorbed into my skin when I used it in the morning. It wasn't as sticky as the Drunk Elephant, and moisturizer layered very well over it. I find I have to dilute my Drunk Elephant serum with a hydrator, but since this wasn't all that sticky, I could put it right on. Definitely worth the try if you live vitamin C but hate the sticky aftermath! -
