I used this to protect my hair from my blow dryer and my flat iron for years. I loved that I could wash my hair at night, add the cream to my damp hair, and then not have to worry about styling it right away since it was just as good to go the next morning. The only reason I stopped is when I suddenly found myself unable to find the product anymore; not sure if they discontinued carrying it in my area, or if it was replaces with another product. Highly recommend it if you don't like the feeling of product in your hair, this won't make it feel gross! -

When I last went to the dentist, he said he noticed that I had some gum recession, which was why my teeth likely felt so sensitive. I already use Sensodyne, so he recommended that I use this as well. It took a few days, but the tooth sensitivity that had been bothering me when I drank things that were too hot or too cold actually went away. Admittedly, I haven't been using it much for a little while, but it does what it says it should do. Very effective! -

I've used these a few times, like when staying in a hotel with friends, in hopes that they would curb my snoring. Well, they don't seem to work for that, though I do feel my nasal passages open more and that I breathe easier when I wear them. I do find them a little pricey for what they are, but if you're suffering mild congestion or allergies, then I feel these are best suited for those situations. -

I've dealt with headaches all my life, and to this day, Aspirin is the only analgesic that provides even the slightest relief. Advil is fine for other aches and pains, but it has nothing on Aspirin for tension headaches and migraines. It's rough on your stomach if you don't take enteric coated (which I don't, because I need it to work fast), so make sure you either take it with milk or on a full stomach, but I swear by this age-old pain killer. -

I have never had any luck with topical ointments for sore muscles, but so many people suggested this to me that I broke down and decided to give it a try. As I thought, it did little to ease the pain of my sore shoulders and back; my muscle pain is always too deep, so it just doesn't penetrate. It might be better suited for more minor aches and pains, but a damp, hot compress and some Aspirin is still what works best for me. -

I always found that Vicks works on the onset of a cold, and towards the very end. It gives you just enough of a menthol kick to open up your sinuses so that you can breathe well enough to have a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, when my full-blown colds are at their very worst, it doesn't even come close to making a difference in my breathing. Not a bad remedy, altogether, but my colds require a much bigger kick in the butt. -

I get terrible head colds and sinus infections, and when I do, the chance of me breathing from my nose is 0. I've tried every over the counter decongestant in pill form, and it doesn't come anywhere near unclogging my nose. But with the drixoral nasal spray, it is INSTANTANEOUS. My partner introduced me to it, and now I refuse to NOT have it in my medicine cabinet at any given time. It does last 12 hours like they claim, as well, but they do caution that too much use can have a bad rebound effect. It gets me through the worst 3-4 days of my cold, before I stop using it. -

When I'm in a rush, I find that the best way to fill in my brows is quickly with a pencil. I've always used Wet n Wild, not only for their cruelty-free status, but because the formula is smooth and glides on well, and the sticks tend to be long, so you don't sharpen the product away too quickly. The best part is how they double as an eyeliner, when I don't want to bother with my gel eyeliner. They've been going strong on the eyebrow/eyeliner game for years, and I'm not around to change my preferences anytime soon! -

I was convinced long ago that Neutrogena was the safest brand of sunscreen for acne prone skin, so I can't even count the number of summers that I made sure I had this product in my arsenal. I do recall that indeed, it did not break me out, but I've since come to reconsider chemical sunscreens for the fragility of the chemicals and their shelf life. Not only are they not ideal for your skin to absorb, but I found that I could only hold onto a bottle of the neutrogena for a few months before it would lose effectiveness, whereas mineral sunscreens last until they're gone. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't repurchase. -

I was so stoked when I found out that Stila had gone cruelty-free. I've looked at their make-up before, but I was never certain of their stance enough to buy it. Recently I checked out their line of highlighters at the drug store, and I am so in love! The cushion-y texture is so rich, and the pigment is absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of the cushion eyeshadow that I purchased from e.l.f Cosmetics. I swatched this a few times, and even tried it on my face, and I am just trying to justify using up my other old highlighter so that I can go and buy it! -
