I was stoked when I found this at the drug store. The colours are so versatile, and I couldn't believe the pigmentation when I tried it out! One of the colours actually reminds me of a MAC eyeshadow that I used to use, so I inadvertently found a dupe for an old favourite! If you haven't checked out Wet n Wild's eyeshadows, then you might be surprised at how much they have stepped up their game in the past few years. So glad that this brand is cruelty-free! -

Before I switched to cruelty-free antiperspirant, this was my go-to to keep dampness under control. It was on the pricier side of antiperspirant, anywhere from $11 to $13 CAD, but it did work for me to an extent. If I was just hanging around the house on a hot day, it kept me dry, but it did fail me whenever I was doing exercise. If you're not super sensitive to heat, and don't sweat like I do, then you'll probably be fine, and I did use it for years because it was the best I could find, but the cruelty-free antiperspirant that I use now has to be the absolute best I've ever found. -

I gave this a try a few years back, figuring that that the 'clinical protection' was just what someone like me--I'm easily overheated and sweat a lot in the summer--needs. I had high expectations, perhaps too high, so I thought it would for sure live up to going for a run in the summer heat... Not so much. Even when I applied it at night, it couldn't withstand the times when I endured a lot of exercise. Dove is known for being very gentle, so I can only guess that this is better suited for people who don't sweat as much. -

I bought this once, and only once, because I was intrigued to see if it would work better than the gel/solid antiperspirants I'd used. Typically, antiperspirant doesn't work because I sweat waaaaay too much, but I thought since the molecules were smaller, it would be different. I was wrong; not only did it not work at all, even the slightest, but it only lasted about a quarter as long as other anti-perspirant. If for no other reason, do the environment a favor and invest in something less dangerous to the air, and that actually works. -

One of the hardest parts about transitioning to cruelty-free products is finding a decent, medicated lip balm for those winter months when my lips are dry and chapped and cracked. I used to use this religiously for that purpose; after just a day of using it, my poor, dry lips would be back to normal, no longer sore or bleeding. Not to mention, the menthol feeling was incredibly soothing. I really hope I can find a cruelty-free dupe for this product because I miss the effectiveness so much! -

I used to be obsessed with these as a kid. When I was 12, I'd wear one around my neck and use it up until there was nothing left, then replace it with a different one. Honestly, the funnest thing about the lip smackers were all of the outrageous scents and flavors that they came in. I don't think they were noteworthy for any other reason but that, and I've definitely tried better lip balms since my childhood. If I ever bought one now, it would be purely for nostalgia purposes! -

I purchased one of these back in the day and liked it just fine; I believe it was in the shade 'watermelon' or something of the sort. It was pretty and shimmery, while also hydrating my lips, which is a plus as I don't find most of my lipstick to be very hydrating. It was great for its time, but with all of the other options we have in this day and age, I am sure that there is likely a cruelty-free dupe out there that does just as well and has a more ethical standpoint. -

I used this a few years ago to grow my relatively short lashes, and after a few months, I really couldn't believe the results. Not only were my lashes longer and slightly darker, but they were stronger, and didn't break on my eyelash curler whenever I tried to curl them. Unfortunately I had to stop using it due to getting eye infections about 6 months later, but I can't blame that on the product as I continued to have problems with styes long after I stopped using RapidLash. I'd 100% recommend, though I wish the company would clarify their cruelty-free stance. -

Before going cruelty-free, I tried my hand at MAC's fluidline, because I fine I have more control applying my eyeliner with a brush. The first time I bought it, I loved it; it went on so smooth, and I used up the entire bottle. But the second time, I purchased the same brown shade, and the formula right away was like clay... I returned it for another one, but had the exact same problem. Not sure if they changed the formula, or if I just got unlucky twice, but I wouldn't buy again even if MAC was cruelty-free. -

I received this as a sample from Sephora, but I can't say I was all that impressed, simply for the texture and payoff. If you're into moisturizing lipsticks that aren't longlasting, then this might be a line you'd consider, but I just didn't find that it lasted all that long for the colour payoff that it gave. Perhaps it would be different in a darker shade, but I can't see myself purchasing this, even if the brand went cruelty-free; my expectations for my lipsticks are just too high! -
