I like to think that there are two types of people in this world: shower people and bath people. I've always been on the shower side, and yet I've kind of been flirting with the bath side recently. It seems so luxurious and relaxing to just soak away in a scented tub with bubbles. Like you could drift away to a carefree world. Mmmm...I think I'm relaxing here just thinking about it.

With the stress of work, family, friends and the looming V-Day deadline upon us, I think we all deserve a little time to decompress. So here are three simple DIY bath soaks for the best bath ever.

#1 Sweet Almond Bath Soak

What You Need:
1 Cup Epsom Salt
1/4 Cup Sweet Almond Oil
Container, Mixing utensil

How To:
Mix the salt and oil together in container. Run bath and add a handful or two of the bath soak mixture.

#2 Lavender Salt Bath Soak

What You Need:
1/2 Cup Lavender Buds
1/2 Cup Epsom Salt
Cheesecloth, Pantyhose or Muslin
String or Yarn

How To:
Put lavender buds in cheesecloth or, if you have pantyhose on hand, cut off the toe section and put in there. Tie the makeshift ball to your faucet (as pictured). Turn on water, so that the lavender becomes infused. Add Epsom salts to running hot water.

Bath Bombs are really fun and easy to make...I love anything with lavender in the tub the scent is so relaxing but it has to be a essential oil not synthetic..
