One of the younger members of the Kardashian Klan, Kendall just turned 18. The aspiring-turned-legit model landed a huge runway show: she walked for Marc Jacobs this NYFW. When I first saw the photos, I thought THAT is Kendall? She looks… chic. Sophisticated. Mature. High fashion. This girl was no reality tv star. Then my eyes wandered down and oh my - nips galore.

Yup, Kendall bared her ladies lumps under a sheer top for Marc Jacobs and everyone and their mother is having a conniption fit. Well, everyone except me. I just don't see what the big deal is.

Runways are used to seeing nipples, breasts and even further south. Fashion shows are a performance piece, they're not real life. Nobody is actually going to go walking down the street with glitter brows a la Chanel Fall 2012, so showing off some nip is no different. It's strictly an art piece, not reality. If say, Kendall was choosing to walk down the street, all 'no bra, no problem', I might have a strict word or two to say, but in this context, I don't feel like it's any different than a painting of a nude. While Kendall is barely legal, the fact is, she is 18 and showing off a little skin is perfectly acceptable. She's an adult who has made this decision for herself.

I think we also need to point out that the light has only been on Kendall's ta-tas because of who she is. There are mannyyyy an 18 year old model who bare skin on the runway or in editorial that go unnoticed. And um, hey, have you noticed that Marc Jacobs is buzzing in the blogsphere? Jacobs was a smart man when he cast Kendall all nekkid like. He knew exactly what he was getting into.

Bottom line: it's a boob. Get over it.

Here in Ontario it would be perfectly legal for her to walk around topless, so wearing a shirt like this would be perfectly fine here and you wouldn't have any grounds to walk up to her and demand she cover up. Plus, what kind of bra would you wear with this? I'm more of a modest woman myself, so I always stay clear of see-through tops and plunging necklines like this (although us small chested women can get away with wearing more plunging necklines and not looking hoochy about it).

There is a big difference between something like this and a women wearing a see-through shirt with a neon bra underneath that says do me or something along those lines. I would much rather see something like this walking down the street then a true floozy. :P

She is a model and doing her thing and it so happens this is a look she chose to wear/model on the runway. Lots of things constantly happen in TV media and this is just another thing. People will get over it eventually.
