DIY Home Decor: Easy Storage Unit

I have a lot of stuff. There's no other way to put it. I just have stuff. Perhaps I should do a major purge and cleanse sometime in the near future, but for now, here's my dirty little secret: I love my stuffs. I don't really want to get rid of any of it. Instead, I've decided to cleverly hide it away using bins and boxes.

Now that I have all these boxes, I need a solution. In keeping with my 'hiding my useless junk' theme, I've been looking for some sort of storage unit. That's when I came across this DIY for a simple, no skills needed, on the cheap, storage unit.

What you need:

Boxes: Plastic or wooden boxes, something more solid works better. They shouldn't be too thick, either.

1. Ikea Skubb Box (C$16.99/ set of 3)

2. Ikea Lekman Box (C$15.00)

3. Large Clips

4. Ikea Pallra Box (C$14.99/set of 4)

5. Ikea Pluggis Box (C$8.99)

Attach boxes together at edges with large clips in any way you'd like to create your unit:

So simple and smart, right?

I love that this is handy to store all your stuff inside the boxes, but you can also use the top of the boxes for potted plants, lamps or vases.

Do you have any tips or tricks for keeping organzied?
