New Product Review Club Offer: Vichy Idéalia Skin Sleep

Posted by ChickAdvisor Team | Thursday April 30, 201587 comments

We all know we're supposed to get a full eight hours of sleep every night, but how often does that really happen? Some of us are moms of night-owl toddlers, while others have demanding careers or irregular sleeping patterns. A restorative eight-hour night is like a mythical unicorn: we've heard of it... but does it really exist?

It's called beauty sleep for a reason because nighttime hours are when skin repairs itself. If you have ever experienced a "bad skin day" as a result of a poor night’s rest, you can relate! Scientific studies suggest that the hour between midnight and 1 a.m. is the most important time of your skin's renewal cycle, when desquamation (ie. flaking), cell differentiation, restoration of the skin’s barrier function, boosting microcirculation, and cellular reorganisation are at their peak.
Avocado masks and cooling cucumbers only go so far to reduce the signs of fatigue. Want to try something different? Vichy Idéalia Skin Sleep is designed to recreate the repairing benefits of a deep sleep for ideal skin quality from the very first morning.

Vichy Idéalia Skin Sleep is:
  • formulated with hyaluronic and glycyrrhizic acids, caffeine, Vitamin B3, and omega-rich repairing oils for hydration and a healthy-looking skin tone
  • paraben-free and hypoallergenic
  • tested on sensitive skin under dermalogical control
  • suitable for all skin types
  • delicately scented with jasmine and green tea fragrances for a relaxing and calming effect as you are preparing for sleep
Unfortunately, Skin Sleep is NOT designed to make your neighbour's dog stop barking or soothe your feverish child, but it will give you that extra boost of confidence when your skin looks and feels refreshed in the morning.

I would so love to try this! I have never tried any Vichy products before, but this looks so interesting! Since I hardly ever get enough sleep, this night cream seems like a godsend

Would love to try this out. Baby sleeps well through the night, but he has this weird habit of randomly screeching in his sleep that startles me awake every time and scares the beejesus out of me.
