Starting this coming Sunday, you can spot retro furnishings, score hand-picked vintage clothing, and scavenge for hip glassware all in the same place. If you live in Toronto, head to Sherway Gardens (Hwy 427 & the QEW) for the 16th Annual Winter Antiques Sale, Toronto’s largest antiquing event.

“Check out fun fifties designer bling that would blow the shades off Sammy…stylin’vintage threads suitable for Sinatra, retro Manhattan martini glasses that Dino would dig, and can’t you just see lounge lizard Lawford kickin’ back in a sweet sixties lounger. Ya baby!” says Peter Sutherland, the antique show's producer.

More than 10,000 antiques will be on display, including restored mahogany dining room tables, armoires from as far as France, and one-of-a-kind vintage couture and fashion accessories. Be sure to say hello to hot Toronto vintage clothing vendor I Miss You, and stop by the Artophile Gallery for very rare original Hollywood art.
