Pink lipstick is definitely a hot ticket item, just ask Ms. Nicki Minaj. While Nicki pulls off the bright pinks with ease, we were a little apprehensive about trying this look out. However, with a little experimentation to find the right shade for each skin tone, we think we're working the pink lips just in time for Valentine's Day. You might also notice a newer face here, we invited back Xolisa who helped us out previously on the Tangerine Lip Pose Off, she's out honorary chick this week!

Lorna


Lorna isn't a fan of bold colours, so we used Stila Sparkle Luxe Gloss in Dazzling on her to give her a sheer pop of colour. The look is fresh and perfect for the daytime. With a matte complexion and a natural look, all the attention is drawn to her gorgeous lips! 

Alexandra 


Alexandra is using Joe Fresh Lip Tint in Bubblegum on her lips. The shade in the bottle is an intense and fluorescent pink but on lips settles to become a much more subtle shade that we love! It's a similar colour to her blush which pulls the look together. 

Mandy 

 
Mandy is using Lancome Rouge in Love Lipstick in shade 351B. It's a matte and striking colour in a coral-hot pink which looks amazing on Mandy's darker skin tone. On top, she dabbed a bit of Stila Sparkle Luxe Gloss in Fairy Dust for a glittering effect. 

Xolisa 


Xolisa is a singer (check out her stuff here!) and also works in our local coffee shop so she wanted to try on a lipstick that could be used night or day for many occasions. We tried on Lise Waitier Rouge Gourmand Lipstick in Macaron, a dusty rose colour. Topped off with a basic clear gloss, Xolisa's look is great for a casual chic outing.
