Self-styled Social Media Socialistas Catriona and Eva – a.k.a. Coco & Lowe – are living the dream. The continent-hopping duo draws inspiration from all things exotic and everyday, found in adventures abroad to street fashion in Toronto. 

ChickAdvisor: What did you hope to accomplish when you started blogging?

Coco & Lowe: We wanted to open a boutique but since the economic climate wasn’t the best we thought we might test out our taste online to see if people liked the same things that we do.

CA: What kind of fan mail have you received?

C&L: We get so excited about our site, so when other people are just as amped as us we die [of happiness].  We have actually gotten in the habit of printing out our fan mail and use it as inspiration on rainy days.

Coco: Karl Lagerfeld
Lowe: Philip Lim

CA: And your top fashion icons?

Coco: Carolina Herrera, Jackie O, Erin Wasson
Lowe: Marilyn Monroe

Holidaying in Croatia...

CA: If you could live in any city in the world, where would you go?

Coco: I just got back from Hong Kong and would go back in a heartbeat to totally immerse myself in the culture.  But if it was permanent I could never be that far from my family, so probably LA.
Lowe: London, if it wasn’t so rainy.
