We Love Fridays: 5 Must-Read Links From Around the Web

Posted by Alexandra C. | Friday August 2, 20134 comments

I love the internet. It's just has a wonderful wealth of information. Literally anything you want to find, you can. You need to see a video of a Panda sneezing? Got it. A tutorial on heat free curls? Got that too. With the sheer amount of stuff out there on the web, you could spend hours just sifting through it all to get to the sites that matter to you. Which is why this week, I did the work for you!

I dug through the vast interweb to bring you 5 must-read, must-see, must-check out sites and stories. It's a condensed version of the web this week. All the best stuff, none of the digging that goes with it.

1. Must-Check Out Beauty Blog: Beauty is Boring

This blog has absolutely gorgeous faces for inspiration. The makeup is a little out there and avant-garde, but the faces are really beautiful. I love to browse and take notes for my own interpreted looks.

2. Must-See Tumblr Blog: Please Play With Your Food

I love this light hearted blog that takes a look at how to have fun with your food. Full of super cool ideas, nifty tricks and re-blog worthy photos.

3. Must-Read Article: 5 Of The Most Overpriced Items In The Grocery Store

An interesting read on the mark-ups of commonly bought items in the grocery. Definitely a good read for those who are into saving money! (image via flickr.com)

4. Must-See Afternoon Giggle: 7 Year Old Boy Gets Fashion

Love this adorable little picture from a 7 year old boy. He knows what's up.

5. Must-Pin Crafting Tutorial: Bathroom Crafts for Kids

It's a universal fact that getting kids to wash up for bed can be tough. Make clean up a little funner with these kid-friendly bathroom crafts.

What were your must-read links this week? Which one of these did you like the most?

Definitely agree with the Overpriced Grocery Items. I usually do not buy name brand spices, and typically only buy whatever cleaning products are on sale that I trust.
