Summer time means that it's time to put away the burgundy and plum coloured lipsticks and try on fuschias, pinks and tangerines! It's a time to have a little fun and experiment with your beauty routine. One of my favourite lip colours for warm weather season is a great orange. I love that it can take the place of a statement red during the summer, without being over powering. 

MAC recently released their 'All About Orange' collection online (it will soon hit stores June 6th) and the collection features gorgeous shades all in the hue of orange as well as a great accompanying smoky eye palette. This got me thinking about the perfect, trendy summer look: grey smoky eye + orange lips.

It's wearable enough to get away with during the day but bold enough to test out for a ladies night. It's trendy but over the top and high fashion without being avant garde. It's the right blend of fun and dramatic.
