Yay or Nay: Angelina Jolie's Red Carpet Style

Posted by Alexandra C. | Monday February 20, 201270 comments

When I first saw this dress, I kept flip flopping back and forth on whether or not I liked it. When I looked at the dress on it's own, I couldn't help but be underwhelmed and a bit confused. I mean, why the flower? And why so big?

However, when I looked at the dress in it's entirety, with Angelina, I kind of dug the sophisticated and soft lines of the flower, mixed with a modern and sleek cut. Needless to say, I was a bit stumped.

Then, I realised, the dress itself is on the weird side, but if anyone can wear it, it's definitely Angelina. Just like Angelina Jolie herself, this dress started to grow on me after a while. I love the skirt portion especially, that shilouette is to die for on her. While I am still not sold on the flower, for Angelina, I'll let it slide.

What do you think, is this red carpet style a yay or a nay? Leave a comment by February 26th for a chance to win!

Nay... although without that huge flower on her shoulder I would say Yay

Nay for me; this dress looks a bit dreadful on Angelina.

I'm a YAY on this one. I actually really like it. The flower IS huge, but it suits her. :)

I say Yay, I like how this dress just flows on Angelina. I think it's a really unique design and I adore the flower!

Nay. I like the design itself, sleek and dangerous as Angelina but the flower does not fit in the grand scheme. A tiny rosette will do. Love the clean style of the body, easy flowing, so Feng Shui.

This bold, big flower thing fits J. LO better.

Nay. I would like it much more if the flower was smaller and not full sleeve on one arm. Otherwise it's a cool idea and she looks classic, gorgeous as usual.

Mostly Nay. It's almost like 2 dresses at once, i think it should either have the flower and no sleeves or the sleeves and no flower.

Gotta go "Nay" on this one. I do like the color, with the grey and black. However the flower and the 3/4 length sleeves are horrific in my opinion.
