I was super excited to have been selected to test out this brow hair remover by Butterly. My brows grow like weeds and need to be managed every day, so I was hoping something like this would come in handy. Unfortunately, after using it over the past week, I find that it isn't really effective. It works okay to clip very fine hairs, but most of my brow hairs that need removing are thicker than fine, which doesn't work at all with this product. I found that the remover would cut off half of the thicker hairs, which meant I still had to go in with my tweezers to pluck the hairs. I think that this product is probably great for people with fine brows. For anyone with average to thicker hair won't find this product very helpful in hair removal. As an add-on, I wish that this product was rechargeable! It comes with a battery which is handy, but I have another facial hair remover that is rechargeable which creates a lot less battery waste!

I was selected by Butterly to try these overnight patches for free. I read that these patches work best on pimples that are whiteheads (not blind pimples) so that's what I tried. First of all, I'm impressed that these managed to stay on my face overnight. I have very oily skin and thought they'd disappear off my face by the next morning. Unfortunately, I didn't find these effective at all. The next morning, I would always wake up to a whitehead. These patches are meant to absorb/draw out/get rid of fluids and whiteheads and I found no difference between using these patches and when I leave pimples to reabsorb on their own. They just didn't work for me at all, so I wouldn't recommend or repurchase. -

I was selected to try this product for free through the Butterly program. I love salted caramel. It's a flavour I look out for whenever sweets are involved, so I was really excited to try out the Salty Caramel Crunch Super Premium ice cream. First of all, the consistency of the ice cream is the exact same as Chapman's regular ice cream products. It isn't creamier or anything, so I'm assuming that the Super Premium claim comes from the fact it's jam-packed with add-ins. There are a lot of toffee bits and crunchy cookie bits. I wasn't a big fan of the 'cookie' bits. They were just crispy nodules like a harder corn pop. I was expecting something a little softer, like what you get in cookies and cream ice cream. I ate this product in half-cup servings, which is less than the recommended serving size. About halfway through, my throat started burning from how sweet it is. It's obnoxiously sweet, which completely masks any flavour the ice cream has. Overall, I'm not impressed with this ice cream. The ice cream itself isn't creamier or smoother than their regular ice cream products. The only difference between their regular ice cream and this version is that it's overstuffed with add-ins that make it too sweet to be able to enjoy. -

I was excited to try out this product since I'm a big fan of cleansing oils for removing makeup. As much as I loved this product, I found there was literally no difference in its effectiveness when compared to my current, budget priced cleansing oil. That being said, it is super effective. It really gets off all your makeup so that's good. Overall it's a good product, just not worth the money when there are more affordable versions. -

I received a sample of this product for free by Chickadvisor to test for a review. I was really excited to try this product, as my oily skin loves gel-like moisturizers. The consistency of this product is like a mix between a gel and a cream -- really nice! This product is fragranced, but it isn't so overpowering that it's obnoxious. The only thing I must critique is the 72 hour hydration claim. As I said, I have oily skin, and this product made my face feel so tight and dry which never happens with my regular gel or cream moisturizers. Not only that, but it caused horrible clogging all over my chin and nasty whiteheads. Because of those two things, I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this product. If it's not suitable for my aggressively oily skin, it won't cut it for someone drier than me! -

I was really disappointed in this pizza, size-wise, flavour-wise, and price-wise. I couldn't believe how expensive it was for a personal pizza. For the same price or less you could get a larger thin crust pizza.
As for the pizza itself, it's pretty mediocre. The crust is a bit strange. It's like crispy, flaky, and buttery. It's like if a Ritz Cracker decided it wanted to be a pizza. The pizza was pretty inconsistent in texture. I baked this in a toaster oven. The bottom was very crispy, yet for some reason when I picked up the slices, the portion with the toppings was so wet and soggy on top that it decided to separate itself from the crispy crust. It was a mess to eat. The toppings were bland and skimpy. I found there wasn't much flavour overall and ended up having to add more toppings to give it flavour. Overall, it's poor value and I'd never purchase this again. There are better, bigger, and cheaper frozen pizzas on the market. I could make a more flavourful pita pizza at home with pantry items.

I was fortunate enough to have been selected by Chickadvisor to try this product for free. First of all, the bottle is massive! There's a lot of product in here! I was very impressed by that. When I first started using this product, I found that it seemed almost it identical to Phisoderm. The consistency and the way it cleanses is so similar to Phisoderm that I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference. I really like that it's fragrance free and that it doesn't lather. Because of that, I think it would be a really great cleanser in the winter because it feels like it doesn't strip your skin as much as other cleansers that are made for acne prone skin. And that's another great part of this cleanser as well. So many of my other cleansers make my skin feel really tight after cleansing. I don't experience that at all with this product. It really is very gentle, hasn't irritated my skin, and has made my skin feel supple and soft. Overall, I'm really happy with this product. You get a lot of product for your money, and only need to use a little to cleanse. I feel like this is a more affordable version of Phisoderm that I'll definitely be switching to once all my Phisoderm is gone. I'm a very happy customer! -

I'll admit that I'm not a fan of Nutella, and I was excited but hesitant to try Kraft's Hazelnut spread. I actually really, really prefer it. It's way better than Nutella! I find that the consistency is much better and that it's less sweet than Nutella. It has really good flavour too. I like that it doesn't have any added palm oils and other unnecessary ingredients. I just wish it were less calories than it is. The high calorie count is the only thing keeping me away from purchasing again. I slapped my free sample on a banana and it was delicious! -

I'm really impressed with the Skin Balancing Micellar Wipes. I've never used a micellar/makeup wipe that didn't burn or irritate my skin (even though my skin isn't sensitive). I didn't notice any burning after using these. They also were effective in removing all of my makeup, even some stubborn mascara and super set concealer. There is no need to go in a second time or double cleanse after using these wipes. I did feel like these left a film on my skin and had the urge to rinse off my face with water after a while, but I experience that with all micellar water type products. The big star of the show is that these are compostable so I'm not feeling as if I'm creating more waste with a single use product. I like that I can throw them in my compost bin instead of the trash. Overall, these are the best makeup wipes I've tried so far because they don't bother my skin and actually remove ALL of my makeup. I likely wouldn't purchase them again for at-home use, but will absolutely buy in the future for convenience when travelling. -

This clay cleanser is amazing. I regularly use clay masks for my oily skin and was really intrigued to see what the clay cleanser would be like. It feels creamy and smells great! Not sure if it's a natural scent due to the clay, but it's the best smelling cleanser I've ever tried and isn't overly potent. It doesn't contain soaps or sulfates, so it doesn't lather like my other cleansers but I don't mind. The consistency of the cleanser is very smooth and creamy. I've used it for about a week now and I've noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin. My skin feels very soft and smooth. I typically use salicylic acid cleansers which make my face feel tight, but after using this product my skin doesn't feel stripped or tight at all. It feels very gentle and non-irritating. Overall I'm really enjoying this cleanser. I think it would be especially great during winter as it deals with oils without overdrying the skin. The one thing I dislike about it is the pump. You can turn the pump head to open and close, but it seems kind of fragile and everytime I turn it I feel like I broke it. It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but I just wish it were a bit sturdier.
