I received my Ginger-Lemongrass Soap for free from the Autumn Moon Soap Co. to try out, but if you’d like to try some for yourself they sell for about $5.24 Canadian each. Autumn Moon soaps are all home made and are made with all natural ingredients. They say they leave your skin refreshed and moisturized, but that wasn’t the case with the one I received, but I’ll get to that in a minute. They come wrapped in a cello bag with a pretty cloth purple ribbon and each round hand cut bar is about 14 oz’s. They are cold-processed lye soaps made with plant oil and scented only with essential oils and edibles. They’re free of artificial colorants, fragrances, and chemicals, so they are really all natural. The maker says that because her soaps are made in this way they retain naturally-occurring glycenin witch is supposed to soften your skin. When I first open the pretty package that this Ginger-Lemongrass bar of soap came in it smelled wonderful and I was excited to try it out. How ever once I tried it this all changed for me in a big hurry. It was so rough on my skin that I could hardly even stand to use it. It felt like it had sand or something like that in it. As I moved the bar around my skin if felt like it was scratching away the top layer of skin. Now I don’t know if all of the soaps she makes are like this, or if it was just this Ginger-Lemongrass bar of soap, so I can’t tell you not to try out some other Autumn Moon soaps. But I can tell you that if you’d like to exfoliate your skin while you wash, don’t buy this one. You could end up doing more damage to your skin then just exfoliating it. -

I won a free 100g Lindt Excellence chocolate bar from a contest they were having on their face book page. I hadn’t tried any of the Lindt chocolate bars before and had a hard time deciding witch one to try because they have over twenty different flavours to pick from. Most are made with dark chocolate witch I don’t care for, but they do have Milk chocolate and white chocolate bas as well as their dark chocolate. Like I said they have a wide variety of flavours to choose from. These are just a few, 70% Cocoa Almond Brittle witch is a dark chocolate, Sweet Dark, Dark Chocolate touch of Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate Chilli, Dark Chocolate Black Currant, Milk Chocolate Crunchy Caramel, Milk Chocolate Toffee Crunch, White Chocolate, White Chocolate Strawberry witch is a bit smaller at 90grams. They make many more flavours, but I just can’t name them all here. For my free chocolate bar I ended up settling on the Lindt Excellence Crunchy Caramel Chocolate bar and I also bought myself a White Chocolate Strawberry chocolate bar because it looked so good sitting on the shelf that I just couldn’t resist it. The Milk Chocolate Crunchy Caramel Chocolate bar is made with smooth milk chocolate balanced with delicate peaces of crunchy caramel. The crunchy caramel adds burst of salty sweet flavours that when combine with the milk chocolate is heavenly. The Lindt Excellence Crunchy Caramel chocolate bar is so good that I ate most of it myself in one sitting and if my husband wasn’t home at the time, I know I would have eaten all of it myself. It was so good that I just couldn’t stop myself from reaching for another peace. The White Chocolate Strawberry chocolate bar reminds me of a creamy strawberry milk shake and it was so good that I did end up eating all of it myself. Whether you enjoy dark, milk, or white chocolate I’m sure you’ll find a Lint Excellence chocolate bar flavour that you’ll love. Next time you have a craving for a chocolate bar pick up a Lindt Excellence chocolate bar. I’m sure you’ll be as happy with the Lindt Excellence Chocolate bars as I am. -

I also tried the new Pantene Pro-V AgeDefy Adanced Thickening Treatment when I tried the AgeDefy shampoo and conditioner. It’s easy enough to use, all you have to do is part your hair in five different places and spray close to your head three sprays down each part. I did this about three maybe four times, but I gave up after that. I have very straight thin long hair and it wasn’t doing a thing for me, other then making the top of my hair look and feel greasy. Trying to address the problem of having greasy hair on the top of my head and it being dry through out the length has bin one of my biggest concerns as I’ve gotten older. Using the new Pantene Pro-V AgeDefy Advanced Thickening Treatment was only making this problem worse for me and it sure wasn’t giving my hair a thicker look. If you tend to have greasy hair then I’d tell you to not even bother with this thickening treatment. How ever I gave it to my mom and she seems to really like it. Her hair is short and reacts completely different to products then mine does. I think whether or not you’ll like the new Pantene’s Pro-V AgeDefy Advanced Thickening Treatment will all depend on the hair type you have. -

I loved the new Pantene Pro-V AgeDefy conditioner when I first started using it along with the shampoo that go with it because it was doing everything they said it could do for my hair. They say it was specially designed with Olay Experts to help fight seven signs of aging hair and is gentle enough to use everyday even on color treated hair. It is supposed to help to reduce breakage, prevent split ends, tames frizz, controls unruly greys, minimizes lacklustre, minimizes the look of thinning hair and it minimizes dryness. I loved how soft and health it is made my hair look and feel during the first week I used it, but that all changed and not for the better. As I said in my review for the AgeDefy shampoo I haven’t done anything different then I was doing any other time, but my hair started to react differently. It became dried out; I had lots of fly a ways and tons of split ends all through out my hair that I never had before I started using the two together. I now have so much breakage through out my hair that it looks like I have cut it into twenty different lengths. I’m worried I’ll have to cut my long hair off to my ears and start all over again because there is that much breakage through out it. I sure won’t be using it on my hair any longer!! -

I loved the new Pantene Pro-V AgeDefy Shampoo when I first started using it because of everything it did for my hair. They say it was specially designed with the Olay Experts to help fight seven signs of aging hair and is gentle enough to use everyday, even on color treated hair. It is supposed to help to reduce breakage, prevent split ends, tames frizz, controls unruly greys, minimizes lacklustre, minimizes the look of thinning hair and it minimizes dryness. I loved how soft and health it was making my hair look and feel and I could see and feel a difference in the first week, but that all seemed to change for me. After that first week of great looking and feeling hair it all just seemed to stop. I don’t know if my hair just got use to it and decide it did like it after all, or what could have happened to change things. I wasn’t doing anything different then I was before. I only wash my hair a few times a week just like I always have done and I haven’t started any new medications that might have affected my hair. I just don’t get what happened. During the second week of using it my hair started to dry out, I was getting more and more fly a ways and tons of split ends. I don’t use a hair dryer, or and styling tools on my hair. All I do is wash and condition it, so I can’t understand what went wrong. All I know is that my hair is now in worse shape then it was before I started using the new Pantene Pro-V AgeDefy Shampoo and now have to try and get my hair health all over again. I’m very disappointed with the new Pantene Pro-V AgeDefy Shampoo and sure won’t be buying any more of it. -

I received my Orange You Happy Lip Balm from the Incrediabalm lip balm company for free to try out. Their web site says that their incredibalms are beneficial lip balms. These lip balms are all natural aromatherapy lip balms that are made with the finest ingredients. That these lip balms can make your lips silky soft while adding great benefit to your body. The Orange You Happy lip balm that I received has a wonderful orange scent and for me it does seem to release tension like they clam it can. Orange You Happy are made up of orange essential oil witch is very up lifting and helps to relax the mind. I truly enjoy this lip balm and tend to reach for this one most often out of all the different lip balms I have received lately. Incrediabalm also makes two other lip balms if Orange You Happy isn’t for you. You can buy a Energizer Balmy lip balm that is supposed to energize you with its peppermint essential oil or their Soothe Your Sinuses that is suppose to help sooth your allergies or cold because it is made up of 100% natural lemon and eucalyptus. So these lip balms don’t just benefit your lips. Best of all they sell for only $2.99 U.S. and their web site takes Pay Pal, or credit cards. I really love my Incrediabalm Orange You Happy lip balm and although it is made in the U.S. I’m willing to pay what ever the price difference and shipping coast is to get more when mine is gone. Incrediabalm is a great lip balm that everyone should give a try at least once. -

Even though I normally use an electric toothbrush, I was pleased with the performance of the Oral-B 3D White Vivid Toothbrush. It was comfortable in my hand, but I did notice that it would get a bit slippery when it was wet. Before I used my electric toothbrush I always used a soft bristled brush, but it was not as soft as this one seems to be. I found I was able to reach all of your teeth even the back teeth with very little movement. The longer tips at the end of this brush aloud me to be able to reach all of my teeth with out any trouble once so ever. The polishing cups on this brush really seem to make a difference compared to just a standard toothbrush. It gave me a nice clean feeling that I felt was pretty close to the same as my electric toothbrush. The larger tip on the end also worked very well at cleaning my tongue. I was very please with this toothbrush. It was comfortable to use and it left my teeth and mouth feeling clean and fresh. I’d defiantly recommend the Oral-B 3D White Vivid Toothbrush to anyone that is looking to whiten and brighten their teeth and smile. -

The Crest 3D White Multi-Care Whitening Rinse has the same whitening ingredients as the Crest 3D whitening strips only I found this rinse much easier to use and I found it works much, much faster. I was also pretty sceptical about this mouth rinse being able to whiten my teeth. I’m a smoker and even though I see my Dentist and have cleanings done on regular bases, my teeth still get some discolouration in between visits. Now as I have said before I also have sensitive teeth and when I first put the rinse in my mouth I did and still do get a bit of a zing to one of my teeth, but this goes away pretty fast once it warms up. The taste isn’t over powering to me and it left my mouth feeling clean and fresh and the freshness stays with me for some time afterwards. This hasn’t happen to me with other mouth rinses so I’m very happy with it. The best part about this rinse is that it really does seem to work! After using it along with the Crest 3D White Luxe Glamorous White Toothpaste just one time I could see a difference in my teeth. They looked better then they do after having them polished by my Dentist. By day five my teeth were much whiter then they have bin in years!! This makes me believe they will only get whiter the long I use the rinse along with the toothpaste. I don’t think just using the rinse on its own will give me, or you the same effect, but I haven’t tried just using one or the other on its own, so I could be wrong about that. I would recommend you at least give the Crest 3D White Multi-Care Whitening rinse a try. -

I wasn’t sure if I’d care for this toothpaste because over the last few years I have developed a few sensitive teeth. I’ve been trying different toothpastes to try and help me with this for over a year. It’s only two teeth for now, but if you have sensitive teeth you’ll know just how painful and aggravating this can be. I also wasn’t sure if I’d care for the taste of this toothpaste because I like my toothpaste to be on the milder side. Much to my surprise the new Crest 3D White Luxe Glamorous White toothpaste never bothered my teeth one bit and the taste wasn’t over powering to me at all. I was still sceptical on just how well it would be able to whiten my teeth, especially in just five days like they claim it can. The first thing you will notice about this toothpaste is just how much it foams up while you’re brushing your teeth. You can feel it getting in and around every tooth as you brush. I even found myself having a bit of a hard time stopping because it feels so nice. It’s nothing like any toothpaste I’ve ever tried before and I’ve tried a lot. I did notice some difference in how much whiter and brighter my teeth looked after using it for a week witch to be honest surprised me. I really do think anyone that is looking for a whitening toothpaste will be very happy they choose Crest 3D White Luxe Glamorous White Toothpaste as long as they use the Whitening Rinse along with it. Other wise it doesn’t seem to give you the same effect. -

I received my Vanilla Cream Lip Shimmer from the Turner Soap Company for free to try out. The Turner Soap Company is a Canadian business located in NB and all of their product prices are in Canadian funds. Their lip balms sell for $6.49 witch I agree is pretty pricey for a lip balm. They say on their wed site that this lip balm will leave a light shimmer and a vanilla scent to your lips. That vanilla is suggested to help damaged due to dry skin because vanilla is supposed to be calming. This lip balm is made from organic coconut oil, bees wax, castor oil, lanolin, jojoba oil, avocado oil, vitamin E oil, honey, vanilla 10 fold and shimmer mica, what ever that is.LOL I wasn’t happy with this lip balm at all! I sure won’t be ordering this lip balm from them and it’s not because of the high price. I’m more then willing to pay for something that I enjoy and that I feel works for me. How ever this lip balm just didn’t cut it for me. As soon as I tried to apply it to my lips it just crumbled and it wasn’t because it was dried out. I had noticed before I first tried it that it wasn’t in the tub evenly and was sunk in the center and higher up around its edges. I thought that could have been why it crumbled like it did when I first tried it. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case because I levelled it off and then tried it again, but it still crumbled when I tried to apply it. Yes it smells nice, but it useless if you can’t apply it. I’m not sure if this was just a faulty batch, or if all of their lip shimmer lip balm act this way, but I’m sure not going to spend that much money on a new lip shimmer to find out. For this reason I wouldn’t recommend Turner Soap Company Vanilla Cream Lip Shimmer, or any of their other five scented lip shimmers. -
