I was actually surprised at how well both the Whole Blends shampoo and conditioner worked on my hair and at how nice it was to use. I have a lot of split ends and most repairing products end up leaving my hair greasy with in a few hours to a day of using them. I used both the shampoo and the conditioner two days ago and my hair still hasn't turned greasy. They both have a really nice honey scent to them and the shampoo lathers up very well. I got a small foil type package sample of the two and although I did, I really didn't need to use the whole thing of shampoo. Half would have lathered up enough for the length of my hair, which is about the middle of my back. It also rinsed out very easily which surprised me because I had used so much of it. I also used the whole package of the conditioner that also has a nice honey scent to it. I normally only apply conditioner to the lower lengths of my hair because of the greasy hair issue I tend to get if I apply it to all of my hair, but this time I used it all over. To my surprise again it also rinsed out pretty quickly, but it left my hair feeling so silky soft that I find myself playing with my hair because it just feels so nice to touch. I'm definitely planning on buying both just as soon as my others are empty and I'd tell you try it out for yourself. I really don't think you'd be disappointed. -

I was actually surprized at how much I really liked Garnier's SkinActive Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer. I've used a lot of different moisturizers in the past and don't think I've ever tried a gel basted one, at least not that I recall. You only need a very small amount as it spread very nicely over your face and neck and it absorbs pretty quickly. If you do happen to use to much, it takes awhile for it to dry, so you'll be waiting to apply your makeup. I noticed the heavier lines that run from my noise down to the corners of my mouth plumped up almost instantly witch surprised me, but it didn't seem to have the same effect on the heaver lines I have between my eyes from frowning, or squinting my eyes over the past 49 years. It did how ever plump up the finer lines that I'm beginning to get around my mouth area witch I was really happy about. It leaves your skin feeling soft, not sticky and that soft feeling lasts all day long. I tend to brake out fairly easily, but I haven't had any troubles with moisturizer causing me to brake out and I'm sure if it was going to it would have done so by now. Its a really nice moisturizer to wear on its own and to apply makeup over because it plumps up those lines so makeup has no where to settle into. I'll definitely buy more once this is done and I'd definitely recommend Garnier's SkinActive Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer to any age group that's looking for a well hydrating moisturizer that will keep you looking and feeling your best all day long. -

The first thing I noticed about the Micellar water was the lack of scent and unneeded added colouring that some other products use; witch was something I really liked about it. The next was that it doesn't contain any alcohol witch is a big plus for me. I hate using products that do because they tend to burn my face and there was no burning feeling at all with this product. I can have very oily skin and it can also get very dry, so I was a little concerned how this might affect my skin. I first tried it after a long day and I didn’t have any makeup on, but my skin had become very oily. With just a few swipes of the moisten cotton ball I could see the dirt coming off. The first two cotton balls were actually black and when that happens, you know it’s really getting down deep. It was able to clean all the dirt and oil from my face in a short amount of time, it left my face feeling clean enough that I didn’t feel like I had to wash my face after wards, and it left my face feeling moist, not dried out at all. When I tried it to remove my makeup, I was a little more sceptical that it would be able to remove all of my makeup, mascara and eye liner included, but to my surprise it did! It did the job with very little effort and time leaving me feeling confident enough that I could go to bed with out having to cleans my face with anything else. I’d definitely recommend Garnier’s SkinActive Micellar water.

My mom bought all the girl's one of these for Xmas and I don't know how the others feel about it, but I didn't care for it. Mine has a funny smell to it, nothing like what it said it was and like someone else already said, it made my lips feel drier as well. You have to keep reapplying it every half an hour, witch isn't something I want to do. After hearing so many good things about it I was excited to try it, but ended up being very disappointed with it. Not long after I received mine I also heard there was a recall on them. I never looked to see if mine was part of the recall, but that maybe why mine smelled funny and didn't work very well. -

Out of the three Brookside Chocolate bars we got to try this was the one I really didn't care for at all. I have to admit that I don't really care for coconut in the first place, but I was hoping the mango would be enough that I could look past that. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I wish all of the bars we got to try had more fruit in them, but this one really needed more for me to get past the coconut and the bitterness of the dark chocolate. On the other hand my husband really enjoyed it. So to me it just comes down to a matter of taste. The quality and price was what I'd expect, it just didn't have the flavour I was looking for. If you enjoy coconut, than I believe you would also enjoy this Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Mango Coconut Crunch.
Thanks ChickAdvisor and Brookside for giving me the opportunity to try all three bars.

I've never been a big fan of dark chocolate, but was told to switch to it by my heart Dr., so being able to try the Brookside dark chocolate has been a great way for me to find something I can really enjoy. I have to say that this was my favourite out of the three we got to try. As soon as you open the package you can smell the cherries and the pomegranate just inviting you to take a bite. I do wish there was more fruit through out the bar, but the fruit it did have helped me to get past the bitterness of the dark chocolate and I actually ate pretty much the whole bar myself. It's at a selling price I would expect to pay for a chocolate bar of this size and quality and it would also make a nice small gift to cheer someone up. I'll be on the look out for this one for sure and I'd tell others to give it a try as well. -

First I'd like to say thank you to the ChickAdvisor web site and to Brookside for inviting me to try out their Chocolate Tablet Blueberry Almond with Acai bar. I thought the packaging was nice, something that would be a welcomed gift. When I first opened the packaging I could smell the blueberry flavour right away witch made it inviting. How ever it didn't contain as many blueberries, or almonds for my liking, witch was a bit of a disappointment and the dark chocolate flavour was it bit to strong for me. I shared it with my husband and he really enjoyed it, but he also likes dark chocolate a lot more than I do. As for the asking price for this size of a higher end chocolate bar, witch Brookside chocolate is, I feel it's at a level I'd expect to pay. I can't see me buying one of these for myself, but I might buy one for someone else. -

After trying to get a pare of Old Navy Flip Flops for a $1 at their yearly sale and failing every time, I order a pare on line this past summer. I only ordered them because for one, I had a $10 gift card for the store and didn't know what else I could buy with the card and two, they were on sale for $3 on their on line store. After the shipping fee I only ended up paying just over a $1 for them and I'm happy that's all I paid! I realise most people think these flip flops are the greatest, but I didn't care for them. The part that goes in between your toes and over your foot is made of a hard plastic, witch I found dug into my foot and in between my toes causing my feet to hurt. They're also not very thick, so you feel every little stone you step on making them even more uncomfortable. I guess its a case of you get what you pay for, but with all the great reviews I've read, I thought they'd be a lot better than they really are. If you're looking for a comfortable flip flop I wouldn't recommend you buy these Old Navy Flip Flops, but if you don't care how they feel on your feet, go for it. -

I’d like to thank the ladies at ChickAdvisor for sending me the 3M Command medium clear wire hooks to try out. These clear hooks can hold up to two pounds, making them good for hanging belts, small kitchen, and bathroom items and are great for hanging light weight seasonal decorations. They’re easy to apply; they hold on tight and come off in a snap, with out damaging your walls. Best of all they’re clear, so they blend into the back ground witch hides the hooks, only showing what you really want to be seen. They can be safely used on painted surfaces, wood, tile and more. If for any reason you don’t like where you placed them, or they don’t look straight, they can be reapplied. You can also reuse them over and over again, year after year. All you have to do is pick up some clear refill strips and you’re all set for your next hanging project. The 3M Command Clear Wire Hooks are available in medium sized and come in a package of two. I’m not sure of the price of these particular hooks, but most two pack 3M Command hooks sell for around $6. -

Thanks ChickAdvisor and Scotch Essentials for giving me the chance to try Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips. When I saw this on the web site for the first time I was thrilled there was finally a product out there for me. I have short legs and I never seem to be able to find pants that fit me around the waste and in the length. They're always to long and I refuse to pay to have jeans hemmed, so my jeans always fray away. My sister in-law has the same probably as I do, so I had her bring her pants over and we both tried the bonding strips together. We found it very easy to use and so far it has held up very well on her dress pants and our jeans. Even when our jeans and pants have gone through the wash a few times it held on and hasn't shifted. This is also something I thing a wedding party should have on hand just in case someone's hem lets go. I'd definitely recommend Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem bonding strips to everyone! -
